Got an amp in to repair that was in a flood. It is dirty as hell. The inside looks clean, will have to test all the components. Still has the original tubes too.

Hahaha, yeah, luckily with the small parts count it shouldn't be too bad to deal with. I'm just afraid to see what has ended up dead due to water damage and thus how much has to be replaced. Mainly I am worried about the transformers.

If you need iron have Heyboer handle that shit. Should work fine and wont cost a metric-fuck-ton.

You know where to find me if you need help

Yep, and thanks in advance for any help I need. Already had heyboer in mind if I need to replace the transformers. Once I get everything all cleaned up I will see what needs to be replaced. But surprisingly the inside components look clean. We shall see how true that is once I start testing things.

Jwar just sold his Magnetar. shoulda bought that, youd have a badass dirt trio.

If you play guitar, get a frequency LSD. I personally want a Behemoth for a huge doom bass overdrive.

Bassist from Bardo Pond uses/used a Frequency LSD. And, obviously, the Megalith is all over the Shrinebuilder stuff.

I really like the way other people make them sound, even though I have little desire to own Alan's stuff personally.

I've had the megalith in question, a huge box 2, and a frequency LSD. None of them stuck out to me enough to keep them. The megalith is ballsy as fuck and has tons of gain, but I found it very unmusical. I kept the big spider longer because it was close to the same sound I used on the megalith but more musical and natural sounding plus the mids switch made it pop out more. The huge box was awesome but became redundant when i got the volt thrower, and the freq LSD was cool for weird sounds but did not fit in my guitar or bass setups at the time.

It's crazy that you found it and got it back, but fucking awesome!

John, you are wonderfully optimistic to have that many serious injuries. It's really great to see.
