Those G12T100s are really great speakers.
As are the G12H75s. Sam I think you'll like those with your Marshall. They complement each other well.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Sooooooo went on a music downloading kick this weekend and discovered Tragedy.....
(I know I'm probably uber late to the game...)
Are they straight into VTM120's or do they run pedals out front?!?! I can''t find any good live pics or videos that show pedalboards so
figured some of you His Hero is Gone fans here might now.
So what makes these bad ass sounds?!?!

No clue, and I already said it in the group message, but this band is so fucking good. Saw them at This Is Hardcore last year (or the year before maybe?) and I was too busy being blown away/getting kicked in the head to look at rigs.

Tragedy are awesome but when I listen to them it just makes me kiss hhig that much more. Saw them live once and they both used marshalls. Dunno what they recorded with but I wouldn't doubt that the first album was all vtm

I have a few Tragedy albums and loved HHIG. No idea what gear they use, I didn't even know they used VTM's (hey, I've got one!), but I just wanted to drop in that I recorded and played bass on a Tragedy inspired track one of my friends wrote. Just for fun, no band to back it up. It's all done and mostly mixed, I've just been waiting for him to be ready to record vocals for it.

This is one of those songs that comes on when I'm going for a run and I start sprinting and punching the air for the entire thing

Well whats weird is in older pics I see them rocking VTM's but in newer vids I see them rocking 5150's, but they don't sound as huge and thick so I dunno.

All I know is I can't find a VTM or Butcher in this tri-state for shit......

I really wanna build a cheap as possible peavey full stack for a plug in and rock no pedals rig.....

HHiG was definitely grindier and rawer which is awesome in its own right, and definitely better suits certain moods of mine. But never having really heard Tragedy before it blew my mind in a different way. The first album is definitely my favorite guitar tones, its like Les Paul's on the neck pickup into VTM's at full tilt and it sounds soooooo good.

This is probably their best song, if you have ever enjoyed punk rock in your life this song will pump you up like a mofo.
