I'm not sure if you mean this in jest or not? Just letting you know mine was an actual joke. :picard:

It was a failed attempt at a Danzig/Misfits joke. Strike it from the record.

It's okay   I'm not a fan of either so that's why I had no clue what you were saying. :idk:

Traded a picovalve for this squier the other night and I don't know how to feel about it (the guitar, not getting rid of the jet city). It's got a jb jr in the neck, little 59 in the middle, and whatever humbucker is in the mim standard fat strat. It's also got upgraded tuners, string trees, and a graphite nut. And it's one of the full sized squier strat bodies. I just don't know if I like it. It sounds pretty dope, but I'm contemplating throwing it on Craigslist after owning it for two days. I was just so taken by the idea of a three humbucker strat, but I'm thinkin strats aren't for me.

I would toss it but I don't like strats. or tele's or any fender guitar aside from Jazz and precision bass.

I like how Strats sound. The guy in Witch Mountain makes his sound Awesome. But if its not the sound in your head, then it's decision time. Or, give it a bit to see if it grows on you.

Madness.

I feel the same way about a lot of the basses that pop up for heavier music -- specifically Warwicks, Rays, and that 'kind' of bass. Other people make them sound great. I make them sound completely fucking awful.

I main a Tele with Humbuckers. I bought it just cuz I needed something with humbuggies a few years ago but I ended up really liking the sound of it. Want an SG at some point though.

I think the trade is happening. We got to the where/when stage of the transaction and dude started to flake a bit. Hope it works it out. I'd love to own an Orange 4x12 again. Though those things are such a pain to lug around but it certainly pays off with the lows.

New Code Orange Kids song just got released and it has completely confirmed that anything this band and/or Kurt Ballou touches I am a fan of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6wYuhLxXm8#t=115

Dang, I'm excited for the new record now. Love the industrial touches.

Speaking of Kurt Ballou what did you guys think of the new Trap Them? Was honestly kinda disappointed :idk:

They're getting so much shit for the industrial stuff, but this shit is so heavy. People suck and kids are never satisfied... As far as new Trap Them goes, I really dig it. Not much else to say, I need to give it a better listen, but I like 98% of what they do anyways.

Weird. I mean, Code Orange Kids have never been traditional so I'm down for whatever direction they take. And that song is heavy as fuck. I love Darker Handcraft more than most things. One of my favorite records ever. But I don't know how I feel about the new slower sound. I've only listened a few times though. Maybe it's a grower.
