I got an email from a record label from Ireland asking us about having us on a 7" split series. Being a small label they are asking for the bands to chip in on it as well. I'm used to this as I have done this will pretty good success with a release before. 300 copies on colored vinyl split three ways with the label, and two bands. Our part of the cost would be 350 Euros which ends up at around $255 for us. What say you wise dudes? I mean, I'm gonna find out more about it, but is there anything I should be looking out for that I might miss?
What label was it? Also 350 euro is about 480 dollars which sounds like a tad too much money for a third payment on 300 7"s. Here's my supplier's price list.
If it happens to be wingnut records then he's a top guy.
PS I can never keep up with this thread...
Damn, I got my conversion rate backwards then. yeah, that is way too much. the label that hit us up about it is called Totally Freaked Out. I can only find a bandcamp and facebook page with 50 something likes on it. We decided to pass on it pretty quick after looking into it a little more. That guy seems like he is just starting out and I can do everything plus some that he is offering for a lot less money.

Just looked them as I'd never heard of them. Seems they're from Holland not Ireland which would explain why I hadn't heard of them. I reckon you made the right call there.
The weirdest part is it kinda just pokes out more when I play guitar, but I think it's cause I end up arching my back. Maybe my guitars really are too heavy and I lean back to counteract that.
Hahaha I've been doing the same thing recently when I've been jamming with GrrFace. Just get into it, lean back, let my belly lift my guitar toward the sky and riff out hahahah

I am actually looking after my friend's recording set-up at the moment while he builds his house. It's not great but it would do the job for a dirty sound full of noise and filth!

School obliterated my free time from the past 6 months. Linear analysis, discrete mathematics, upper division physics and finishing my 4th semester of Calculus has officially fried my brain.
Figured I'd check in here and see how all you dudes have been doing. Not too many pages could have gone by since I last posted.

.....
600.
600 fucking pages. And I'm gonna read them all but while I'm catching up it's good to see that from at least the last 10 pages I just read that everyone seems to be doing well.
Oh, and I just had to crank the Dunwich 200 tonight and play some Melvin riffs before practice tonight - it was great.

yeah but i need an excuse to buy a new guitar...i would love to get a baritone V...that would be cool.
Or I could get the newer Iceman IC700 in white, that thing was nice, and i shouldn't have sold it...that had a 25.5 neck and great sounding pickups...most regretful sale!
