Holy shit, that thing looks evil.
Summoning Ax....

One of you guys has to get that.
I'm looking on my phone so I can't really see, but the top one is 12 banger yes? No drone stings on there?

yeah that's a 12 no possible way to set up a tremolo on that so it's all you guys.

One of these days I'll cut you into little... I mean I'll get a side project going for the double 12/4 and then I'm sure I'll be figureing out where to sauce a backup. Fun toy to play with though in the mean time.

BOOK HERE NOW IS GOOD YES!

As sssSummit said, FUCK SNOWFLAKES indeed.

Very much looking forward to reading and the wife has only semi stolen it. I have heard some excerpts she found amusing so far. I want some time where I don't have other shit going on to sit down with it and give it the attention it deserves.

Tone breakthrough at practice tonight :joy:

Sometimes I need to remember the key to the heavy is turning the gain down.

Soon. Soon.

We're recording a demo next week so I just need to be happy with my current setup at the moment, which I am :) My new 610 just took some time to wrestle into submission. Thing wants to swallow everything with its ungodly, shuddering lows.

I was at practice tonight and was very excited to see John's book arrive. That meant that there was a good chance that the postal gods smiled down upon me and delivered MY book too! And yes. I saw the book, and it looked good. I am taking tomorrow off to get some stuff done and put my truck in the shop. (i hope I can spend a bunch of money on it) And now I will have something to take with me as I navigate the public transportation in Seattle, back to my house. I read a bit of it so far, and I am diggin it.

Thanks again Trey for getting it out so fast. Once I get done, I will go talk it up on the Amazon review site. :thumb:

Pretty much do that with everything. Volume does the rest. The day I figured out that setting the gain low on the pharaoh and using it to boost other stuff = :yay:

BOOK!

I too will tell Amazonian tales of the night I received the book and gained all the knowledge of Odin.
Also made my dick bigger!

Just kidding. I will take a shot at composing a nice review.

Hmmm interesting. I cannot wait to get this AOR in my hands so I can hit with my BF-FZ combo of Satan. I run the gain on the fz at about 1300 and the level just before noon before sending it through the bf for mids and thickening, no gain there, only volume.
We'll have to compare notes.

Also, gonna swap out the neck pups in my icemen. The old Floyd 350 is getting the Duncan jazz dealer in the neck so it's rolling dimebag styles, then it goes up for sale. The 400 is getting the invader....which I actually think has a better clean tone and is warmer and clearer with dirt.

On the FZ I scaled the gain back to just past noon and maxed the volume. Before I had volume at about 2 o'clock and gain at 3. Huge dif. Lot more tone up the middle without that annoying octave thing the FZ-2 does when the gain is dimed (depending on the eq). I run fuzz pretty much straight into my Beta Bass, which has some of the on board gain in play, giving the mids a kinda crackling, fiery texture which I loooove (love that amp so much). Doesn't quite sound like the classic E-Wiz FZ thing, which I'm okay with, but still very obviously that pedal. Thinking about adding more of the amp-side gain and seeing what I can find.

I really liked the BF-FZ combo on my Orange, but tbh my Beta doesn't love the BF for high gain stuff. That pedal can kinda do anything though as it turns out so I been using it for more subtle single note stuff and pushing it with my BM. I'll be interested to hear how that setup plays with the AOR. The FZ seems to work well with anything.

Awesome. We only have one copy of the splatter vinyl left. If you want that option just let me know and I'll put it to the side for you.

I dig it/would rock one. I like the cover photo on your facebook, and think that would make an extremely rad shirt too, fwiw.

I like that cover art too. It was supposed to be the cover for our next release, but I think he's talking about wanting to use something else now. We are hoping to get it made into a backdrop. Kinda slacking on getting that done though. Gotta find someone who will make it without costing us out the ass.

Also, I get paid this week so I will be hitting you up about ordering a copy of your book.

Huzzah! Hope the both of you enjoy it. Glad she finds it amusing. Sometimes the line between pretentiousness and sarcasm is blurry when I write (...or speak).

I'm not very good at that either. It's why I can't stack dirt pedals. And I'm not going to hide it. I sometimes troll ebay for those mini Krank heads.

No worries man. You guys were nice enough to want a copy, so the least I could do was ship it quick. Hope it arrived and you can yell about it on public transport all day tomorrow (well, today, I guess). I would very much appreciate reviews :thumb:

Fuck all that. Review it however you want. I know I would buy a book that promised the knowledge of the allfather and gave me a bigger wang :animal:
