Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I can say I end up listening to a lot more black and doom metal when it starts getting cold out. It's weird how the seasons affect my musical preferences and even the music I write.

Just hung out with my ol buddy whiskey. That bass rig is the best bass rig. Phoenix is a good place. Wild bearded whiskeys roam the streets.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
If Ireland had its version of Summer all year round, it would be one of the most popular places to live in the world. It basically never rises above 80 Fahrenheit, and most of the time it's way below that.
Had a jam on my gear for the rest time in months earlier. Was good. I've just been playing indoors on my Strat unplugged. It was good to get away from the gear, but I'd like to return.

Glad I live in San Francisco. 60-70 degrees pretty much year round
Partly left my home state (Vermont) cuz the winters were so cold and the summers consistently in the upper 80s/90s with 1000% humidity. Does take a toll on your mental health.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I prefer the cold, I can't get anything done when it's hot. I can work outside in the rain in shorts and a tshirt, but when it's hot my blood turns to mud. It's overcast and mild most of the year here, but for some reason it's been upper 70s F in our house this week and it's terrible.

im the same way
pantera / slayer in dead of summer
black metal in winter
doom in between
I used to rotate black metal in the winter, power/speed metal in the spring, death and thrash in the summer, and doom in the fall/early winter. Now it's doom all year round with the occasional other genre thrown in when I feel like it

With a nice amount of rain. Love rain and snow. We just have too much of it.

or you could always replace the black widow in it.
wes look for a used carvin b1500 or b800. looooved mine.
it withstood my abuse running it @ 2 ohms during outdoor phoenix gigs. many many many times.
The black widow was nice, but the first time we hooked a HM2 up to the bass, it killed it. Would like to go with something that handles the fuzz better.

Awesome. We only have one copy of the splatter vinyl left. If you want that option just let me know and I'll put it to the side for you.

I just love the heat. it's 82 degrees in my house right now and I'm chilly. That's how much I love heat/summer/warmth. So whenever everyone around bitches about the heat I'm more than happy to soak it up. I never complain about the heat. Always about the cold.
T-rey I'm disappointed my book did not have the promised and requested dick tracing. I was being quite literally in my request. Great book it's like I'm reading all my own thoughts in a constructive presentation. I just stopped on the 4th chapter. Had to sit down cool off from cardio and take a shower and finally get some paintings done for my shows coming up.

I lived in Vermont for a while. It is unnecessarily hot there in the summer.

The older I get, the more I dislike heat and humidity. I dig fall here in NC.
Glad you got your book. There's a dick in there, you'll just have to find it

And glad you are digging it so far. I hope that it resonates with people in a semi-non-douchey way.
