I showed the book yesterday to my wife and before I can say anything she goes. "oh someone wrote a book about you!"

I'm now in jail.

Enjoying the Sleep riffage but I wish Al's vocals were scaled back a bit.

I was so hoping that it would be something like that, and I am not disappoint. NOT DISAPPOINT.
Much digging this track, I am having.

fallen wrote:That new Sleep tune is not very good. The timing is sloppy and it feels too "live". Would be way better if they used a trigger on the kick and quantized the drum tracks. Probably didn't play to a click track. Also the guitar is too high in the mix and needs a midrange scoop at around 1K...

Just kidding! :D

Don't worry, the rest of the album will be Djent! Djent HARD! :yay:
We can only hope, right?

I dig it. You can actually hear what Al is mumbling about. Now, how long do you think it will be to get this thing done. Quite a teaser.

I don't believe there's a record in the works -- just the single.

That's too bad. Maybe a Christmas album. Sleep sings all your favorite Christmas songs, in double drop A.

I'm listening to the Clarity...again. It gets better with each listen.

Also....Earthbound Audio have the Iron Pig up for preorder at $150 until the month's end. So tempted to hit that...should probably wait for my tax return.

They are really forward, but I do like the Om style chanting vocals.

The NPR article mentions a new album, but the answer that gives them that idea is sort of vague. I'd like a new Sleep album that sounded like this though.

New Sleep track was pretty meh. Listening to weed worship is just as annoying as fucking Jehovah's Witnesses knocking on my door. I've come to realize that Matt Pike and Kerry King have the same solo style as where they just slam their fingers anywhere but it still works for them. Drums were tight and I did catch myself tapping my foot here and there with a few riffs so it wasn't all bad. they're one of those bands that is cool background music but I never get into them any further than that.
