I've always thought that a baritone National would make a badass doom guitar.

the idea is abhorrent and offensive. One of the bestest bands ever. And, of course, someone's going to be like "oh yeah I don't like Kyuss either" and "you know all those Pentagram-style bands suck" and "Cathedral was pretty meh, to be honest" and then the weeping for humanity will commence.

Even if Cathedral really was pretty meh, to be honest.

I'm kinda that person^^ to a degree. I can enjoy them but I don't bend over backwards for em. I have seen Pentagram live. I'm more about some St. Vitus instead who i've seen as well or Candlemass which I'd love to have seen live.

Kyuss is decent but not my normal rotation by any mean. Cathedral I have to be in the mood for as well though I own probably 80-90% of their discography.

Ancient cool deal on joining up with Ol Scratch again.

It's not an Ol' Scratch reunion sadly. The vocalist and second guitarist from when I was in OS have a band called Lord. That's the band I'm potentially joining. I have my official audition Sunday, but I have little faith it won't go in my favor.

By the way, its the same exact people as Super Black Object as well. Except I'll be doing drums instead of bass.

That mystery was sadly given away about a year ago..... with number 1 coming out and talking about a new album coming out.... much to the dismay of #2 and #3. So we collectively decided to give up the ghost.

The only scary thing about the new Sleep track -- it sounds like Al is going full solid state. I hope that's not the case for the tour. SHIT DOESN'T SOUND THE SAME.
