Second date seemed to go well! She wasn't crazy, and I didn't let my anxiety overwhelm me. So good overall! We saw The Double, and she liked it. I feel like if she can enjoy a dark, Kafkaesque film that's a great sign!

Also, interview tomorrow for a paid internship. They were looking for business juniors or seniors. So, I feel like I have a pretty good chance as an Economics Graduate student, even though I don't have any experience in banking. As long as I don't look/act crazy tomorrow I should be golden. Also, if I manage to land this I'll be able to breath a little easier this summer, financially speaking, and hopefully have an easier time finding a job after I graduate!

I really like submarines. I'm fascinated by them in every way. There is a romance to them. Other ships hold no interest, largely because of my fear of drowning. I figure, with a submarine, if things go bad drowning will be over with quickly, at least. They are like starships on Earth, alien but familiar. The sound of sonar. The flaking paint on bulkheads. I love submarines.

Have you seen Das Boot? I haven't, but its supposed to be a great movie.

So today was fairly productive and still relaxing. And now I have just about 24 hours until I'm not broke anymore. Gonna order a pizza after work!

I'm likely going to buy my (going to be 11 year old) daughter a fender champ xd with the tube clean channel for her bday later this month. She already has a sparkly pink daisy rock electric guitar and will be equipped with some dirt and delay pedals for the clean channel from extra stuff i have sitting in the cabinet. **awesome dad moment coming up**

just looked at CL locally and there's a fender 30 for $250. HRM

Fuckin Das Boot.
It totally captures the essence of living in a submarine. The first time I watched it I fell asleep and it was still going the next morning. And nothing had happened.

Today is Thursday. This week went by quickly and I feel pretty productive.
Get to hang out with my mom tomorrow, always fun finding new places to eat.
My wife's belly is starting to pop and it's cute. She'll be 15 weeks on Saturday.

Therapy on Tuesday was amazing and life changing. I cried my eyes out and talked about things that I'd never said out loud before. I made peace with a lot of things, including my disorder.
