This is fucking sweet! I'm getting a big Trash Talk vibe from the first riff, and the heavy shit after the feedback is great. The vocals suit it very well, but they need to be louder in the mix. I'm stoked to see where this project goes.

Thanks for all the nice words dudes! Means a lot. The criticism helps a lot too. Appreciate it. I agree the vocals and drums need to come up. Especially on the second song.

First track is cool. I agree with whomever said (SLK, maybe) that the first riff in the first song is a little off time, maybe. I really liked the riff with the feedback. The riff that comes after that is really awesome, too. Is this a two guitar band? Sometimes I wish the second guitar would vary in its riffage.

We're a three piece band so just one guitar. Backhanded compliment?

Edit: updated https://soundcloud.com/psychpunk/plague ... gh/s-6Ki5s

Sounds a lot better with vocals upped :thumb:

Edit 2: Realized GB was "normalizing" the volume with the export, turned it off and now it sounds way bigger and blownout as it should: https://soundcloud.com/psychpunk/plague ... gh/s-bdEMP

^That stuff sounds pretty fucking sweet

What's the skinny on the ampeg v3? Never heard of those ones. $400 a good price for one with road case?

Looking at the one in FOCO? If it were just the head, I'd jump on it in a second. The combos are supposed to be a different beast than the "normal" v2/v4 line of amps, supposedly much closer to a Marshall. Never played one, but I wouldn't buy it without trying it first simply because they're super rare and, as a result, there aren't really any clips/good descriptions of 'em. Maybe try to talk him down, I dunno.

Could always make a day trip of it, hit breweries while you're up there. Even if you don't dig the amp, at least you'd get buzzed on rad beers :thumb:

Also, if anyone comes across (or has, and is looking to sell) a Red Bear or Novik MK120/MKE120, hit me up. The other guitarist in Khemmis is GASing hard for one. Has his Sunn Sorado up for grabs as trade bait (or if anyone just wants to buy it - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sunn-Sorado-KT8 ... 1c43b2a450)

I don't want to but it rarely gets played, and I've got the monson to cure my 6 string desires.... GAS is a tricky bitch. I'm not 100% sold on the idea but I'm definitely thinking about it.

into somethin that maybe worth a listen
if anything else those dudes wiill entertain you
they both have such a wide soan of what they can rip out
ill just make sure to keep the thunder rumblin
and the OLD HAIR DRYER blowin
(you fucking kangol wearing fuck
you still contribute to my diminishing libido, assholefartface)
yeah exciting things
johns got a sweet recording setup at his mistressbands space

theres something in the air
honestly for a long time i thought i was buggin you guys
just my insecuritys
or maybe i really was
ill just say one thing about it
i came to ILF to figure out how to get the sound i heard in my head
and you motherfuckers never steered me wrong
ive never regretted following any of your advice
