so...i got rid of my Vox delaylab...it was way too much...too many buttons too many functions etc...i re-confirmed for the 100th time, I am a simple man with simple needs!

but the other thing i did was switch the order of everything on the board...anyone else ever done an order like this?

comp > volume > Wah > Phaser > Chorus > Trem > Reverb > Delay > Palisades > QM > Tuner

By the time i switched it all around, it was too late to plug it in, so will have to wait for tomorrow.

Hey T-Rey...i've got around to reading your book...about 30pages in...i gotta tell you this...you have done a hell a job man!!!

Its well written and structured clearly, all the examples and the way you explain concepts are done in a way that makes it feel very personal. Its as if you and i are in a room and your talking to me 1 to 1.

Not sure if you are already on the path, but you should get published...this is too good a piece of work to sit in the sea of self-published work.

Thanks! I've been interested to hear feedback from people I don't know in real life (or at all). My friends know me and understand how I am, so they look at the book like having a conversation with me - glad to know if comes across that way to someone who I've never had the opportunity to bro down with outside of the internets. I've made no real efforts to attract a publisher yet, but sales have started to slow down, so I may spend some time trying to woo an agent or bigger publisher in the near future.

Also this seems like a good opportunity to publicly mention that I've had my first Ape Blaster returned. Not because of any breakage or failure but because it makes a shitload of wild feedback and racket when it's activated and you're not playing.

This. I only play at home, and that kind of shit doesn't bother me a bit. This reminds me of when the TGP crowd heard about the Pharaoh and were upset when they figured out that it didn't give up the toanz at speaking volume.

Man, have you watched season 8 yet? Its the funniest season so far. I hope they go for season 9 because this is too funny to stop now.

i just impulse-bought another fuzz. fuck my life. a Behringer VD1. i'm only short of the Vintage Tube Monster for the whole series.



you guys seriously need to try the Behringer Vintage series pedals.

the phaser is like a neutral (not in a bad way) sounding Small Stone USA that can get super fast speeds. currently using with keys, sounds amazing for the price. again, the sound is pretty grey and sterile but in this one that's not a bad thing. 20 bucks? yes please.

the Vintage Tube Overdrive is a seriously seriously cool fuzz pedal, just don't expect it to sound like an overdrive. it is an awesomefuzz pedal with a really rich drone to it. love it. around 30 bucks, if you doubt me at least get a used one

the Vintage Time Machine is the crown of the jewel so far. this delay pedal is AMAZING. do yourselves a favor and get one. i'm waiting to get a second one of these too. brilliant pedal that will eat much more expensive delays for breakfast. doesn't sound like a DMM though. currently using with an analog synth. many happy, so tone. around 50 bucks, that's like an offer.

will tell you about the VD1 in about a week, but from the demos i've heard it kinda sounds like the Maxon 850 muff clone so i hurried to get it.
