I like vibe before dirt, but I prefer my phaser in the loop—so after dirt.Krosis wrote:Does anyone else prefer their phaser before their dirt, or is it just me?
Also, the Wounded Paw P90 Phaser is pretty nifty.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
i ended up with phaser before dirt
i felt after it was takin edge off
not just vol drop, but freq cut
really chopped off some balls
may just be the nature of small stones
i used to have dirt before all
now its at the end
still before delay though

Whats the going rate for a used Emperor 4x12 cab? I'm gonna sell one of mine to fund a 6x12 and have no fucking idea about used prices on them.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I watched that whole rock crushing video and after the big boulder crumbles my brother leans over my shoulder and says "I thought it was going to be a lot more dramatic than that". I was curious to hear that one guy scream in horror in a Borat impression or something. "Mai eyyyesss!"

I think all B/S/T threads automatically get deleted after 30 days or something like that.ryan summit wrote:i never realized the hitler klon b/s/t was annhialated
There totally should be a "Best of B/S/T" archive though.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I generally prefer it before dirt - the effect is still there but it's not overpowering or killing mah toanz. I have a small stone (Whetstone) as well, so like Summit was saying, maybe it's something about them that likes to be in front of dirt.conky wrote:Always phaser before dirt. One of the last times my wife and I got stoned together (yeeeeeeeears ago) we were hanging out with one of my old college roommates and his wife. We ended up watching 'How it's Made' and laughing hysterically.CaptainBoxman wrote:Me and my friends watch this stuff when we're high, and we don't really know whyryan summit wrote:if you dont watch this tilll 1:35

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
spent the past few days doing this kind of stuff.

really stoked so far on how it's going. we haven't recorded in a long time and are a much better band now. and this is a much better recording. a modest studio, but a killer engineer. which is certainly better than a really nice studio with a less than awesome engineer, as i've learned. dude has made some really good sounding records and i've been really really happy so far with what we've gotten with him.

I agree, good engineer will go a lot further than a bunch of great gear and a wonderful studio with somebody who hasn't a clue about any of the ins and outs.
