Had a job interview today, it was brought up that I'm into pedals and stuff. The guy asked me about how many of "these gimmicks" I had, and I was all "uhh...oh, the pedals?" And he's all, "yeah, you said that you were interested in those gimmicks,"

I also have mentioned guitar pedals on a few interviews that I've gone to. Some people have been like THATS REALLY AWESOME!!!! And others have been like 'oh that's cool, moving on' but no one has been like that ^^^

it's not really age though; I've encountered people like that before that were pretty young yet had a dismissive attitude towards pedals. "Yeah, that's cool, but I like my sound to be pure."
