I know some people like established acts getting a nerdy about their own fandom but what they feel is homage always feels too much to me. I mean "Reverend Strychnine Twitch", come on. Billie might as well have his tongue up The Cramps collective arsehole.

I won't pretend to know why it bothers me. Maybe it's because I'm jaded or maybe it's because I think Green Day sucks a fucking choade and the association unsettles me.

For the record though, haven't listened to the album.
