I wish there was something I could do that's better than hugging emoticons. I know I'm not a doctor, but I'll reiterate what I think I've posted here before. It seems to me (as a not-doctor, keep in mind) that if you have brain chemical imbalances that are fucking with your life, then pouring other chemicals into your brain might make things worse. Google "COQ10 depression" or "COQ10 antidepressants." COQ10 is an important enzyme for many reasons, and it seems that some anti-depressants deplete it, thus making you feel worse. I'd say that it's worth a shot just trying it out. You can get a bottle from a supplement store for around $10. Even if you're taking anti-depressants at the same time, maybe it might help to counter-balance some of the negative effects. Once again, I'm no medical professional, but maybe you should ask your doc about it.
Oh, and do everything you can to make your environment less stressful for you. Don't listen to NPR if it's bumming you out, don't listen to music that exacerbates anxious/depressive feelings, and so on. Everything in our environment plays a role in how we feel and perceive the world, so change what you can to make things more positive for yourself.
Hope ya feel better.
I'll look in to it, thanks! Yeah I'm definitely looking for something other than Wellbutrin, made me an apathetic zombie. Usually smoking weed once at night helped me sleep and feel good the next day while still giving me an acceptable emotional range but now it's not working. I really think that the new job and routine have kinda fucked things up for me. I definitely need to find a good exercise plan but I'm always exhausted and lethargic even if I've taken a tolerance break from smoking. Like no matter how much I sleep I'm always tired. So I need to force myself into some daily cardio because I know it'll pay off and help to offset the fact that I sit at a desk all day.
From what I'm reading about COQ10 already it seems like it'd be worth giving those supplements a shot due to their other possible health benefits. Thanks!

The news reports were bumming me out so I stopped watching. The world still turns whether I notice it or not. Ignore the newspapers too. Just live your own life in your own little bubble and fuck everything else. The less you care the happier you will be.
Yeah honestly I'm just going to stay off social media and news sites and just focus on myself. It just sucks that I have the privilege to do so and many others don't. These are issues I'm passionate about and would like to help with but I need to get myself in the right place first or I'm doing no good at all. Whenever I want to go on news or social media sites I'm just going to either play guitar, read, learn some new skill or just otherwise re-purpose that time towards bettering myself.
Thanks dudes, this is just what I needed
