Yea not really digging the dictators overall.

Nice woodwork, but the look of them. I just don't like. like wildebelor said looks like old radios. And I didn't even think that before hand. I just thought they looked like too square of boxes or cubes. Now I can't see the radios. doesn't even speak heavy to me. and that's a huge no no.

That sounds like something that dick bastard I had to deal with on my last cab from them would do. Those cabs look OK. I might rock a smaller one at home for recording but I don't think I'd wanna gig with something that looks like my mom's antique pie safe.

it looks like they are pricier than emperor cause I remember reading about some kid that got an unloaded single 12 cab. and it cost him 300. so going what they are asking for a 412 they will probably want 4-500 on the single 12 unloaded cab.

Hey guys, been a bit since I checked in. Been busy with a move and settling in. Still have some piles of shit to sort through. Definitely not going to be able to read through everything I missed.

I have a set of et-90s in my sunn cab. They sound great. I'm very happy with them. Been a while since I played through vintage 30s but I would say the et 90s are much smoother in comparison.

Oh and Bongripper is finally coming to NYC. Looking forward to it.

a pie safe is about as room temp as can be
essentially a cabinet on legs
but with chicken wire for walls
looks like a bunny hutch
its to keep neighborhood kids and dogs away from the product
i think
back when pie was sold on the black market?
little debbie and the grannys entenmans/friehoffer
slingin pie in the podunk

Ryan summit is on fucking point tonight. I'm from Ga. Just about evey backwoods redneck has a pie safe. We have one too but unfortunately it holds no pies. All it has is bottled water, plastic grocery bags and a half empty fire extinguisher that I set off in the house the last time I got drunk.

Refer to previous response.
You're gonna love it.

Definitely an un-PC name but some unique looking cabs. With that price point though I guess they're trying to tap the ever-elusive doom lawyer (or doom corporate CEO) market.

It is certainly a growing market.

I really love old furniture and radios (deco and nouveau are pretty much my favorite preiods of design, with a little bit of ambitious Kommie Sputnik futurism in there to boot), and the walnut is beautiful, but not at that price tag.
Gimme something I can put my beer on without having to think twice about a coaster.

ryan summit wrote:i think all my cabs are front loaded

yeah wait
1k and i see screws
thats not cool man

Some speakers are designed to work more efficiently when front loaded, I just think rear enders became the standard at some point. VHT/Fryette make all their shit like that.
But I get what you mean. For that much money, the thing would want to be like one of those Japanese jewellery boxes that are an ornate series of hidden pieces that form a structural puzzle to open it.
WWPD?
