I dunno if the pic will help much. I can hardly make out what goes where in it. I got 7.2 on the multimeter though. Is that about where its supposed to be for 8ohm? I realize now I shoulda taken this to its own thread. My bad, dudes.
I haven't soldered everything together yet but I did hook it up and play it for a minute or two. Sounds awesome. The 55hz Reapers sound great and the ET 65 gives it the top end it needs without any harshness. I turned it off because when I looked at the back of my tubes they seemed to be glowing like a motherfucker. I could just be paranoid though. Hopefully someone will chime in in a few on the ohm rating that I got on the multimeter in a few. Gotta head to practice and wire the other 6x12 up, too.

It's hella easy to make the beer better, but the companies are trying to make the beer as cheaply as they can to maximize the profits on a $17.99 case. There is the whole other issue that the big breweries often use corn or rice for their grains, which ferment just as well as anything else, but don't lend themselves to making the best beer. That's my understanding anyhow.
When I was a kid I assumed that Hulk Hogan and Paul Hogan were related...which is entirely because I'm white trash. But now I kinda wish that Hulk was an Aussie.

big ups to Skip for a great deal and being a very cool seller as well.
I haven't been able to plug into an amp yet, but acoustically its really nice...and plays really smoothly!
Nice! I wonder what Skip has up his sleeve if he let that go.
My commute normally takes less than 10 minutes. Traffic is so bad in Nashville tonight that it took three Yob songs to get home. THREE. ONE OF THEM WAS THE GREAT CESSATION.

The USA has such a craft beer boom right now I'm worried it's a bubble that's gonna burst and then I will have a sad. Is craft beer not a thing in Australia?

From what I understand a few American breweries distribute to Australia but they're pretty crazy pricey. And Australia's got a few craft breweries that are supposed to be pretty good.
The thing about the US's craft beer boom is I think we win no matter what. At a certain point if a brewery is bad to mediocre and they aren't at least trying to innovate or improve they're going to go under in the next few years. We'll be left with less beer, but there will be just as much if not more GOOD beer. I do feel bad for the business owners if they go under, though
The amount of craft breweries popping up around here is concerning and exciting to me all at the same time. I enjoy going to breweries a lot and trying all new kinds of beer. I was at 2 different breweries in just 1 day last Saturday I just have this bad feeling that this is all becoming too much and might fold in on itself. But you're probably right about the mediocre beer failing and the good ones sticking around. I just shudder to think we'll be back to the pre-Sam Adam days of no craft beer that I hear about from old timers.
