Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
The Sabbra Caddabra arrived today and I just gave it it's first test run.
This thing is like the pure essence of doom was harnessed into this one little box.
It's like they took DNA from Tony Iommi and Matt Pike and fused it with the circuitry.
If you could shoot up tone, you would inject it from this box.
I'm pretty sure my playing was overheard by an alien race millions of light years away, and now they are on their way to Earth to make First Contact because we have crossed the Tone Barrier.
SLK could sell his entire airport hangar of gear and just use this one pedal.
Every time you play a note through the Sabbra Cadabbra, Bossk sheds a tear.
It's that good. Seriously, everyone get one. Now.

I was at 2 different breweries in just 1 day last SaturdayI just have this bad feeling that this is all becoming too much and might fold in on itself. But you're probably right about the mediocre beer failing and the good ones sticking around. I just shudder to think we'll be back to the pre-Sam Adam days of no craft beer that I hear about from old timers.
Come to Grand Rapids, MI, dude.
I have breweries coming out of my fucking ears.
Bought a Coven this week. Might have to sell/rearrange some things on the pedal board.
Need to stop going gear wild for a few months now. My bandmate is headed out to Cali for work for three months starting in january. Stoked for him. I think he's probably gonna land a job offer out there which is tight as all get out except that I has no leads to my rhythms.

this am totalys dialdos.

Can I at least wait to make the trip until April or May or whenever the hell the snow starts to melt in Michigan?

Yeah we have some really good micro breweries here. Great to drink them on special occasions as they are expensive. Lately I have been buying cheep import beer from Aldi. They sell a really tasty South American Cerveza that I'm really getting into. They sell lots of good imported beers that are cheaper and taste a lot better than our local big brewery crap.

Do you by any chance get Kona? It's a Hawaiian brewery and their beer is really, really good. I could imagine them exporting to Australia but then again what do I know.

Bottlo is Aussie slang for a bottle shop.

Please do. I'll buy you a beer, too. Hell, I'll buy any of you a beer. Just don't come all at once. Nick, I'll buy you a gallon of milk. SLK -- we'll just go find you some weirdo amp at a pawn shop for like six bucks and I'll buy you that.

Lord. Grand Rapids gets Lake Effect snow. Akin to Buffalo, although what they got this past month is un-fucking-real. We're consistently in the top 5 for highest amounts of snowfall in cities over 100k people.
Wanna get up on outta of it someday... someday...

I am not envious of your crazy lake effect snow. It isn't so bad in Ann Arbor, except when it was minus 20, windy, and dry as a motherfucker last year. My gf is a homebrew kinda gal, and we are thinking about organizing a brewery tour weekend in Grand Rapids.
