One time I put a cap across the end of a patch cable that was used in the fx loop to tame the dog whistle highs on a 5150. Thinking about doing the same thing to my Soldano but I can't remember the value I used. I think it was a 0.1 uf cap from a gutted LPB1 but I can't remember for sure. Anyone ever do this? And would there be any reason this might damage an amp?

Mmhmm. My old band had one to tour in. Took the back seat out and had room for all of our gear plus room for 5 dudes to sleep semi comfortably.

They are the vehicle of choice for touring musicians for a reason. :thumb:

A lot of the GT1s come with a 2 piece front panel but the one piece looks a lot better. The 2D CinemaScope logo looks awesome on black.

The big handles look better than the small ones but I don't think there is room for those on a GT1 with the extra controls.

I saw an amp where most of the controls were relocated to the inside on top of the chassis. Was a GT200 but looked like a slave. Set and forget. Might be cool to make a GT1 that looks like a GT120 on the front but has the extra controls relocated to the back.

Aussie Posse

Bogan

Knife (you call that a..)

Sniffles (cause you know its all white, kinda like cocaine, which gives you the.... eh nevermind you get it)

Bunyip

-------------------

I'm having trouble coming up with English / British kinda names so I went with Aussie inspired names since you'll be ending up there.

But it should be a single piece white faceplate with black or red letters.
