I've caught up on reading the backlog, I'm avoiding comment and moving forward. Too many things missed.

I have a shitload of EL34's that were for my Orange. I have an Ampeg v2 now, so I need 7027a's. Anyone want/need some pairs of EL34's or 6CA7's?

Also, speaker recommendations for this Ampeg v2? I want loud. Pretty much decided I'm going to sell or trade these v30s. I don't like them with anything except Orange amps.

Also also also, work at the screen print shop is soooooo dead that my boss basically told me he'd understand if I bailed to find another job. I'm not stressing or anything. </sarcasm>

I have got to say, after switching through a ton of speakers for my VT40's I ended up loving one combo in particular. I have a pair of Fane AXA10 alnicos in one of them and it absolutely kills. They're not cheap new but I waited on thegearpage for a bit and some came up used. They're really well balanced, the actual speaker breakup is nice, and they get really loud before that breakup.

Sucks about your job. I just got my hours cut at work and am taking a $650 a month pay cut. I'm wanting to get a part time job screen printing here in town. Something to learn the rest of the trade so I can eventually run a shop out of my house that I can do on my off days.

We're touring in April and will be around Tampa / Orlando. If we get something set up we'd love to have you on the show. It'd be cool to meet up with some Doom Roomers.

yeah that's a pretty good explanation of what it looks like. And only ONE side has that tiny more conventional wire wound bit underneath? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE! My understanding is that the solid alum takes the place of the copper wire in conventional pups, but it's still weird as hell, and why are the magnets offset?
The fuckers work good though.

Looking for jobs is bullshit. So not looking forward to that.

I have 2 nieces, 4 and 6 years old. They are cute as hell and I love them to death. That said, after two straight days of looking after them, I am more sure than ever that my decision to not have children of my own was the right one.

It was fucking great. I'm bummed Tragedy isn't loud anymore, like when I first saw them years ago. Still great though. KWC and Neurosis just crushed it. Perfect way to end my this year.
