Got a fucking flu. My head is pounding. I think I need to curl up in bed with a bottle of vodka.

This is the longest I have ever gone without playing guitar. Mine are all sold, I am pretty much insolvent, and the pawn shops here don't have anything. Totally depressing.

Target is blowing out the First Act Adam Levine electric guitar bundle with battery powered amp for $40 in store, if that's in the limit of your solvency. I've always gotten a pretty solid rep on these store First Acts as good cheap beginners' guitars, if not the best deal at full price. I have no earthly need for another guitar but have thought of grabbing one for some sort of use/abuse (alt tunings, Yuri Landsman-type mods, something else).

That is totally in my range of solvency, but the nearest Target is 90 minutes away.

I'm guessing Snot Magnate is already an iPad game.

I love my new job, but I haven't hardly been able to do anything other than try to organize myself each night, eat, and sleep from trying to adjust to going from a desk job to a no-desk job every day. I hadn't played guitar for over a week until today, and haven't even had the chance to build, at all, in a week as well...
