What is the name of the fest? I may climb on the boat for that.

Maryland Doom Fest, I believe I put a link in the gig thread.

I figured as much, you social butterflys out there on the left coast all know each other.

Mos are badass. The band recently went trough some personnel changes, right after Flux did as a matter of fact. Tony Reed is a fucking stellar player, and is/has been the heart of Mos as long as I have known them. Sean Booth Joined Infinite Flux after Loco's departure, and about 2 weeks later was asked to join Mos. Sean is one of the most talented, down to earth guys I know. Total pleasure to have him aboard and I want to keep him around for as long as he can manage two bands. Drummer guy is new and I don't really know him but he did fine the show we had with them last month.

We went up and saw them do an acoustic set last night, then Mike Scheidt did his, and the Scott Kelly(and the road home) then Karma To Burn played. Mad amount of rad music on a tuesday night. Was a good fucking time. The place wasn't empty, but it wasn't packed, and I think Mr. Copeland and I went collectively broke on merchy stuff.

Mos is going to be on the Stoner side of the spectrum but the guitar

I always got annoyed working on the Camaro because it was a random mix of 10mm and 3/8th bolts because they are made in Canada - that's right, the most badass Murican muscle car (this is fact, not opinion) is Canadian.

Aherm..... Pontiac!
Hate to disappoint but at this stage, I'm keeping the L6 and the goal has been to arrest any rust, repair/replace what needs it, and get it running with as many oe parts as possible. I have my 73 bird if I need to get a 350 rumbling.
That said, part of the reason for buying it is the whole JTR v8 conversion stuff. For those who don't know, you can basically bolt a chevy engine and trans into a 2500lbs purpose built sports car and you basically have the car equivalent of a doom rig. Don't die if you pursue this folly!

So yeah, down the road when I can budget for it is another thing. Right now I have it almost fully back together, painted, engine runs, brakes need done, wiring and interior. Really close but zero time lately. Hope to have it done for summer.

Ahhhh ok, well I will definitely have to meet up with Sean and share some stories about ya hahahahaha

Dude that acoustic show sounds like a beast, you lucky son of a Bee's over there get all the good show. The best we get is if someone is looking for a show to fill a night between Baltimore and North Cackilacky.

Also I love those old Z cars, sure they look like a penis with wheels.... but their light as shit and got some fucking class to them. I've seen one with the V8 conversion and it was a sick nasty car (still couldn't hang with the supra though :p ) but I think its badass that your trying to go more stock and OE resto than to go for a hot rod resto. Cause your right if you feel the need to get up and go that Ponti's gonna have a hell of a lot more gusto... that I6 in the Z though aint no slouch.

Spent the past week tracking AWII at Big Sound and soon as we were done I caught a germ that's had me on my back. At least when I wasn't walking to and from the mechanic in the rain

Anyway, Skip, Mos Generator is our main buddy band. We've played with them more times than anyone besides maybe Pouch. I consider Tony Reed a treasure to the state of Washington and he is easily my favorite guitar player. I can't say enough awesome shit about that band or that man so here's my all time favorite Mos jam:

Here is a poster for our next show and guess who is directly supporting us?!?!

Also we have lots of fun amps up there at Big Sound Productions and here is a picture of what we did when we were done tracking:

I noticed in some of the video's he plays a Viper as well. :poke: :) I'm just really surprised they are coming as far out as Maryland to play a show!!! I guess they must be on tour in May? You guys should hop on that tour as well... :poke:

That Amp henge is sick!!!! How'd the prince amp do?

This must be why educational psychology is proving interesting. Seeing them test 6 year olds and 8 year olds on which is "more" and the concept of literal vs abstract is fucking gold.

That sounds fascinating. Links to any papers?

Whiskers, most kids are shit because their parents are shit. These tiny little creatures got cursed with the gift of sentience and then lack the developmental experience and maturity to do anything with it. Most of childhood is a crash course in driving the fucking brain and trying to get it to interface with the body. Throw other unqualified operators in the mix and shit just gets worse. The real tragedy is most people continue to dick out until they're adults.
Honestly I think most kids are pretty good once you learn what they're angle is. There's leverage for almost every one of them and there's time to intervene before they grow up fucktards.
But I cannot tolerate adults who are yet to form a concept of self that is actually considerate of the fact that there are other people around them who do not exist solely to get them exactly what they want.

I was bullied a bit too man, but it's the stupidity and ignorance of the majority that ive always loathed and that has now ground me down. It's what is killing our planet, we know that for a fact now.

Raising a kid is tough these days, mostly because it's financially brutalising. That puts strains on marriages and forces you to do things you had previously flipped off. Don't judge your friends though. People that think they can carry on doing whatever the fuck they want once they have kids are usually assholes who are doing a shitty job, so it sounds like your friends are trying pretty hard. Nobody can have a child and then carry on like nothing happened.
Not flaming you dude, just some perspective from a dude going through the rough first years of child raising. Ever have a conversation with your parents about what life was like before they had kids? That's a fucking eye opener.
/End rant.

I won't fight you on that one. I'm partial to Camaros, but any Fbody will do. As long as you have the Firebird, then the stock resto on the Z is really cool. Although my white trash DNA would not allow me to have one without a 350 in it...and by that I mean a 383...with a healthy shot of ye olde laughing gas on it. I can't tell you how much I love the phrase 'the car equivalent of a doom rig.'

Came home to an empty house again, threw a mic on the floor in front of the cab and recorded this. The mic clips some, and I can't play worth a shit, but it gives you an idea of what the Arrows does.
