holy shit...i only got to listen to Art of Self Defence today...i got to HoF late...and only got the latest stuff. But...from the first song i'm hooked into it...the riff are fat and the whole thing is pretty fucking cool. I much prefer his guitar sound on this album then the later ones...was he still using Matamps from sleep days?

That's just part of it. I'm tired of that asshole spamming his shit everywhere and shitting on every other pedal and builder out there.

Man, I am right there with you. It's comments like, "its hard being on top and one of the main guys pushing heavy music." Dude, your company has been making waves less than a year, Enormous door was a huge shit show, and he does nothing but make excuses when that gets brought up. I can handle pushing your own shit, but it's when he does it at the expense of other builders that I lost all respect for the dude. He routinely is involved with arguments and when he gets backed into a corner the thread gets deleted. He'll get banned for a week or two then come back. Yet if any old arguments get brought up, he's cool with that person now, he's given them pointers on how to improve, or they are working on a collaboration together- even when you know its bullshit.

My favorite moments:
1) posting gut shots of other builders work, calling them out by name on build quality, When I brought up that the builder and pedal in question (a rat clone/mod) was far superior than his enormous door rat (that I also have) he immediately said that it was probably one of the ones he didn't build, and I probably know nothing about tone.
2) Buying/ acquiring other builder's shit and modding them, then selling them as "Lone Wolf improved" for a markup- he does this one all the time
3) egotistical comments like "i alone have unlocked the secrets of the HM-2." before claiming that it isn't possible that any other builder could clone the same circuit he did.
4) This is more a business thing and I don't understand how people fall for it. He's a mojo parts cork sniffer, advertises that in almost every pedal he makes...and he charges a huge markup... Then he has a sale, seemingly once every few months where his shit is 50 bucks off. He did it from basically black friday to the end of christmas, then is doing it now for a while for tax season. If you can afford to sell your pedals on sale almost as often as they are not on sale, you are overcharging.

No that was an amicable agreement. At the time I thought he had a product launch ready to roll and among DIYers you respect that kind thing. However in reality he had didnt have the HM2 design down until I gave him the capacitive coupling trick. He will claim that he had a working model already and that he was first to put out the 6 knob version but if that was the case then he would have not needed the capacitive coupling trick.

Gotcha, yeah he won't claim you helped him because that would hurt his ego and his reputation. I thought there was a little more behind the name game but I guess I remembered wrong.

That is absolutely the reason I can't stand him, he has absolutely zero problem trash talking anyone but deletes comments and ban people who call him out on anything. Don't dish it if you can't take it.....
