Thanks boys!

Good lord Prince rules! Most of his stuff isn't really my bag but jeez you'd have to be a jerk to not recognize.

Evan that amplifier is one hundred watts my friend!

Nope, all of his are bare bones black with the dumb metal grill and all the usual stuff. I am told that he didn't want any flashy gear to draw the focus from him.

It's been fun so far! I haven't run a clean amp in a long time. It's just a whole different deal with dirt pedals and it's going to be fun to go through all of them and see how different they sound with this. My last clean amp was a Bassman 135 which I liked quite a bit but it kept breaking. Part of the reason I like to go new from Soldano is because once it's bought I don't have to pay for anything except tubes ever again and I can drive it across town for service or modification.

welcome to the CR120 club...fuckin' cool amps!

Thanks, guys! I guess this means you're still liking yours, apart from it being black and all? :poke:

well...theoretically mine is actually Orange, but i worked out why i was able to get mine so cheap...its been painted black!.

I worked it out when I got it...contacted the seller, he was shocked and was going to refund me etc...apparently he had bought it a month before for a one off gig, and had no idea it had been painted.

But when i plugged in and heard the thing...the black paint was very quickly forgotten...and to be honest, who ever did paint it, did a pretty good job of it. The only fuck up is that they painted over the pipping, and thats a little sticky.

Alright, I'm in. A pretty rare treat to get to light one of these things up these days, let alone both. Quite therapeutic when it happens!

Hahahaha, when I started reading this I thought you were joking. Maybe there's a way to safely remove the paint?

Finally saved up enough for a new amp. My second tube amp ever. It is such a different beast than my hot rod deluxe, I'm loving it! :!!!:

Band asked me to take a pic of our shirts but I only know how to take pics of my gear, so like a goofball I came up with this:
