I've moved to a new place with only my shitty laptop, a bass and an amp (and obviously basic shit like clothes, in case there are any pedants around) leaving behind my guitars, amps, all my pedals, my desktop pc...
I mainly did it because I wasn't sure how much room I had to play with here but also because of some idea about getting back to bas(s)ics, practicing just the instrument and reading/exercising instead of playing so many videogames.
I'm really not sure how good an idea that was. I guess it's not the hardest thing in the world to take a trip back and collect some of that stuff, but I want to give it a try because if it actually improved my fitness and practice discipline that would be amazing.

stick w/ it! video games r lame compared to making music. i've done something similar before. move and not get internet for awhile kinda like that.
it was funny having to look shit up in the phonebook tho.

I just texted guitarist/vocalist of band the phrase "Mr. Delicious" upwards of 50 times in like 3 minutes just because I know his phone is dead and he'll get them all at once when he turns it on tomorrow.
