getting one of my amps fixed...the guy came over and picked it up tonight. so in a week the Kalamazoo will be ready. and my flanger is working its way back from Baltimore. i might do a whole new pedalboard layout with the Goodbye 24 off and the Randy's Revenge taking double duty as a queasy tremolo.

Fixed the old Sony tape walkman that my mom passed down to me.
Now I can listen to all my shitty homemade tapes in the car via aux cable!
And I can force all my friends to listen to all my shitty homemade tapes in the car via aux cable!

That's genius!

I always wanted a car stereo that'll take tapes (for mixes) and iphone (for audiobooks)!

Yea it's such a simple solution that took me wayyyy to long to ever think of. I'd imagine walkmans go super cheap on ebay.
Luckily, my mom somehow still had her old walkman. All I had to do was get past her "why the fuck do you want this old piece of shit" look on her face.

My winter has been super warm so far. It's usually around 20F this time of year, but it's been 60-70 this past week and is supposed to remain that way through next week.

I haven't bothered with listening to tapes in years. The only thing I use my tape deck for is a lo-fi tape compressor for my digital tracks. Would love to replace it with a 1/4" 2 track reel to reel version but that might be too hi-fi.

Thanks dood. I don't think it has really dawned on me yet, that I'm actually finished, you know? But the constant feeling that there is stuff I need to do is slowly fading. :!!!:

We're playing a gig tonight at a bar that actually gets a good draw on its own.

Time to impress. :D

Dominos fucked up my order and, thanks to it being college hand-egg playoff day, they couldn't get a replacement one out to me. To make up for it, my next three large pizzas (no restriction on toppings) are free.
