Yeah, it rocks when the company matches you.

Houston is cool, my favorite guitar shop is Rockin' Robin, they got all sorts of awesome gear. Food is good basically everywhere.

I've actually been writing stuff again and while it's been good, everything I'm writing has been really bass-centric. I need a writing partner to put guitar in there to balance it out.

We just call it the "doom" room in the hope we might lure hipster girls there...into our rape vans....I mean vans of righteous wizarding.

Started hashing out a plan for a screamo/drone project today. Ill be playing Bass Vi and synth, a drummer+drum machines and samples, and we're looking for a guitarist. Hoping to fall somewhere between Pg.99, Kidcrash, and Full of Hell's latest album.

Something to do for now.

Enjoying them all quite heavily. Really fucking love the Crypt Sermon album for that classic doom vocal with sick ass riffage.

Cool, glad to hear the Crypt Sermon is good. I ordered it after reading the review on the Obelisk. I haven't checked out any samples, kinda want to unwrap it and hear the whole thing at once.

Finishing up the last bit of vocals on our new album today. I'm so ready for it to be done. I'm tired of hearing these songs already.

Witchburner demo recorded, just gotta upload it.

Somehow I get the feeling the shell will precisely fit those cabs  :thumb:  A++ would bang.

Whores tonight fucking delivered. Have some footage from it, if I can get it to sound passable (gopro mic) I'll post it up if that's cool with you, Christian. Killer set. Bass tones stood out especially for me. Had a sweet spot in front of the guitar cabs, that sounded glorious, and could still make out everything else. Nicely done gentlemen!

If you guys didn't introduce yourself to Christian as a couple of Doom Bro weirdos from the internet then I am disappoint.

I'm pretty much socially awkward and generally inept in the ways of human interaction. Despite my above average height and worsening obesity, I am often invisible in a crowd. So, as much as I wanted to introduce myself as 'some fakenamed jerkoff from the internet who you have no reason to remember', I abstained.

That's pretty much what I did. The whores crew were crazy busy dealing with the rush on merch, so I kept it to "Hi" and "Make sure you go see Lozen next door after your set.

here's a taste, Apologies for the audio, which in no way reflects how fucking good they sounded. My poor lil ole gopro mic was not up to the volume those mystery amps produce.

I last saw Christian standing on a table or something with Aaron Beam right after Lozen with a big grin on his face. So hopefully you's guys come back soon.

Very nice. I actually have what basically amounts to a pension account, so I can't really complain, but I don't think I have any friends with a matching 401k down here. My wife and I started IRAs right out of grad school, back before either of us had jobs with any benefits at all - I'm sure we will be glad about that down the line.

I will check it out if we make it into the actual city at all. My plan for food is barbecue at least once (where I will gorge myself on smoked meats and simultaneously argue with anyone about North Carolina's barbecue), hit Whataburger (since that's the burger place you're "supposed" to eat at in Texas, right?) and then nothing but Mexican food other than that.

That Dunwich stack is definitely bringing the snazz.

Yep, same here - I've really enjoyed the few people I've met from being nerds together on the internet. :animal:

Super happy that the tour is going well for Christian and the gang. The new drummer is awesome, and they are bringing to toanz, as usual. D headbanging up front :doom:
