Work went by quick as fuck this week and it's almost 40 degrees out. I'm cherishing this, doubt I'll see weather this warm until April.

I just woke up from maybe the best dream ever:
I was invited to join Sonic Youth on stage at a festival in my town (a sunny place by the sea, not this grey german place) and we played so well together. At one point Thurston had to walk off stage and I was the only guitar player (Lee was scratching on the turntables or something-- ?). I transformed the whole song into this punk-rock angst-ridden piece with Kim singing and screaming. During the set we moved ever closer together and in the end we were all hunched over a contact mic'ed pillow that we used to make beats with. After the show Thurston told me they'd keep in touch and if they'd meet a dead end in their upcoming recording sessions in southern france they'd call me and invite me to sit in for a session with them. And Kim loved my pedal board, especially the Demo Tape Fuzz. Once I had it turned on she told me to never turn it off again. And in the dream I also kissed the super hot girl at the bar. She told me she'd meet me when her shift was over.

Damn, I would like to go back to my dream and meet her.

Only just realized that I can use my Surface Pro as an external monitor for my main PC. Super cool.

Nothing like going over to your parents house for free laundry and to raid their choice selection of cheeses. Mmph.

Checking my privilege haha.

I love going back to a noise/drone recording I made but haven't listened to in a while, and finding that I like it wayyyy better than I remember.

So psyched for Falls of Rauros. Not to mention it's put on by the brewery run by the guy behind Panopticon. Bunch of limited beers, tons of merch and records, I'm so ready.

Today I decided to try my Torn's Peaker clone with my bass (only ever played through it with guitar before).

Utterly crushing sound. I can definitely pick out more of the pedal's flexibility with bass rather than guitar.

Soooo I'm thinking I might start to put together a bass board
