So Sabbath is calling it quits.

Sad, but better now before they start releasing dubstep albums or something.

I hope Iommi still puts something out solo or otherwise. He is Sabbath after all.

I didn't like that album they just released so i'm actually surprised to hear they were still 'together'

I didn't hate 13. It had some nice moments.

Their last album with Dio was pretty good, but I haven't cared much for Ozzy in a long time.

It's a good time for them to hang it up. I know Tony's had some health issues, but maybe he can still put out a solo record or something. I'd give it a listen.

This is kind of where I'm at. I don't actively listen to anything past Mob Rules anyway.

Yeah that's how I feel. The last round of touring they did was pretty good so I think it's good for them call it a day now. I hope it doesn't mean bad news about Tony's cancer.

Those solo albums are pretty rad. Phil and Rollins are definite highlights. Another one like that would be sweet.
With Sleep as his backing band.
Geezer's solo project was also pretty cool.

LOVE their stuff. Wish there was more than six songs, though. Mind you, that's about 80 minutes of music....

is deadhand available for sale??

I'm waiting to be in sydney...as I want to start buying some vinyl instead of digital downloads.

also..will soon start asking about good record players that can also be used to hook up to a Mac to download songs to iTunes...
