Ah well, I'll just wait for Nick to drop those new one knobbers to get my fuzz face fix.

If it's any consolation, it'll just be across the ditch...

I doubt there's any consolation there... I know the relations between the two islands is tenuous at best.

So I had a few pedals arrive today.

The Berhinger: This is, beyond a doubt, the worst sounding pedal I have ever heard in my life. Ever. And I kind of like it. It claims to be an overdrive but in reality it's more like a half functional rangemaster which has been thrown off of a bridge. :picard: I could think of worse ways to blow $25. It won't be on my pedalboard but it might be of use someday so it's going into the pedal pile.

The Vox: I really, really like this pedal. I like it more than my carbon copy. I picked it up for $75 during one of MF's stupid deals of the day. It's a very dark sounding delay and the modulation is more of a pure vibrato sound compared to the carbon copy sound. The feedback knob is no joke, on the long setting you'll have difficulty getting it past 1 o'clock before throwing it into self-oscillating mayhem. The short setting is the slapback setting, the long setting is your standard delay (up to 900ms), and the long/short is a really cool combination of the two. I'm digging the sounds I'm getting from it, especially the long/short setting with the feedback set just below the self-oscillating point, getting cool feedback and oscillating undertones. Really cool pedal.

I was looking on my phone when I first saw that.
I know see that that is, indeed, just a glass window.

Hey guys,

Haven't posted in a while. Hope everything is going well for everyone. I have a few pages to read to try and catch up.

My band got offered a show with Sólstafir, so it is going to be our "biggest" show so far. The only downside is that our drummer said it is going to be his last show. He recently got a promotion at work and so his work load went up a lot. Also since we have been playing irregular due to another member just having a baby the has been concentrating on other stuff like rock climbing and doing a lot of trips with that. He said that he had a lot of fun after practice last night though, so maybe I can convince him to stay. Otherwise it looks like we will be looking for a new drummer.

That Berhinger might be good for fucking up a vocal track. :idk: plug a mic into it and see how it goes there.

Ill tag you in the ad, and you can float the idea, you never know he may go for it.

For that price i probably would have bought it from you!

Actually, there is another guy selling a Matamp 2x12 for £200. That's pretty mad. The chances of that, eh?

I just checked and shipping is going to be a pretty penny. If £200 is indeed the going rate, I may just try and stick to selling it in Ireland.

Nothing really out of the ordinary. A pretty big label make some crazy statements about what they were going to offer us, and then it went away.

So I'll just go back to toiling in obscurity.

That sucks dude  Why do big labels have to be so full of shit? And the Whores aren't obscure around here. You guys are ILF legends. Just keep doing what you do best and I'm 100% sure you guys will make it. :thumb:
