(speaking of, there is a pretty rad polivoks filter desktop unit made by erica synths)

Not quite sure where to post this, but it's a synthetic drum so hey!
Hammond auto-vari 64. Not sure about the date, but the original owner claimed he bought it new in 1974. It's one of the sweetest cheese-machines I've ever tried. Played through a huge bass amp it sounds like your grandfather trying to replicate some deep house tune. It has 4 patterns per bank and you can make it loop through all patterns in different measures so it's actually very versatile for actual playing. Sound is very full and thumpy, very easy to tweak and detune for added weirdness. And it looks like a control panel from a 70'ies NASA project ...

at practice
Should I buy a Dominion 1 & MS-20m, or keep saving up for a Prophet6?

Forrrest, that's an incredible setup.
I would get Dominion 1 and then started saving for Prophet 6

I tried the MS-20 mini in a store with some headphones. On paper I like it but in the flesh I disliked it. A lot

i still don't really know how to program the thing, but it is super lush. some of the operator algorithms feedback into each other and it drones out like a mofo (atleast i think thats whats happening..lol)
