I put my Tele on craigslist, and someone from California hit me up and offered to pay whatever the shipping cost was. I don't have a case or even a gig bag for it, so I was thinking I'd go get a quote from the UPS store. If they pack it, they are liable for damage, right?
Yes, and chances are you will get to utilize that service as they are GUARANTEED to FUCK UP the guitar. The only time I ever had to place a claim was on a guitar shipped to me that was packed by an UPS store. They took a large box such as you would pack a guitar CASE in, and threw a very pointy and breakable guitar in there loose with about 100 packing peanuts. I got a full refund and was able to keep the (damaged) guitar, but for fuck's sake.
So if you want your buyer to be really disappointed, go ahead.
second this.
I tried it in shipping a 212 mauler cab to canada and it arrived to him with the fucking baffle caved in. cause someone literally stood on the cab on the baffle judging from the bootprint.
also somehow managed to gouge a chunk of wood out of the back.

In other news, I started driving a cab a few new guts a week. It's awesome, but tonight is so fucking slow. So boring and I'm not making any money. Might just throw in the towel. I made some extra money doing carpentry today, so I think I can justify quitting early enough to have myself a drink before bar time.
i just noticed that my phone changed what was supposed to say "nights" to new guts. weird.
It's mapping your personality to attempt to anticipate your thoughts so that you will become more dependant on phone.

No it was designed "for him" and he did definitely have it on his board for a while, but the latest shots I've seen no longer have it.

Didn't even last three months on there.... All though he did seem to get it right before he kinda switched up his entire rig and went to dirt on the board, boomerangs for loopers and TTE delays. Also switching over to running three hiwatt half stacks and an ampeg SVT + 810 for his rig.

I dont understand the allure of adding a preamp from an amp thats loud and clean. just get a loud clean amp?
I'm thinking about adding a blend to a Naga Viper. Anyone done this? I initially got it as a boost, but I like the sort of nasal whine thing it does in the high end register, and end up with it on more often than not. The only problem is it basically chops off the low end. I'm thinking being able to mix some of it back in would be nice, and would make this less of an all or nothing tone shaping option. Does this make sense?

Not to sound totally stupid, but does it still chop off the low end if you run it into something else?

I always thought the preamp thing was for times when you wanted to change the character of your amp...so you have a marshall and you want it to sound like a Sunn...

That's true if you have a power amp in or put it in the effects loop return on your amp, but otherwise it just adds flavor to the amps all ready existing character.
