Guys I saw an Alembic guitar in a store yesterday and thought of you. Not because it was $3000, but because it was a really dark walnut, with all brass hardware, what looked like bass strings (possible baritone?), and was beat to shit. Plus it weighed prolly 12+ lbs.

First time I had seen an alembic close up though.

This is why I refuse to describe flux as anything other than heavy. On occasion, when pressed, I will say "Well, we are kind of like progressive instant funeral shoe doom gaze" that tends to shut them up.

jared wasn't arrested. wasn't even detained. the organization that he's part of that helps with fat kids. (childhood obesity) the guy who runs it was arrested for child porn and basically since Jared is the face of the organization he was immediately searched next and at the moment found nothing. Still I love all the jokes and I hate subway.

if a band wants me to listen to me they should just have one sentence "We sound like Grief" and that's it. just that and a link.

I think you can easily describe a band as "...for fans of Mastadon", or ..."not for fans of Mastadon"

that pretty much covers it.

Also Axx...that bus looks cool and comfy...all you need now is some wings and a jet motor and you can do cross country tours too!
