Yeah that's a shitty situation dude. Not having hands for a bit sucks.

ILF postings come in waves. Sometimes its super talkative, sometimes it's super dead. I wouldn't take it personally.
good deals are here.

That's how I feel whenever I post here being new. Thanks for the comment on this thread yesterday.

Starting to realize I won't be able to play guitar for a little while and that's super frustrating because I feel like I was just starting to get really proficient at playing and learning songs.

There is only one rule around here. That is, Don't Be An Arsehole. Maybe I've been an arsehole to people, but I don't really remember being one. Perhaps some people have diferent ideas of what an arsehole :idk:

I'm sure I come across as one from time to time with my short answers and offbeat/hard to translate to text-humor. "DBAA! Apply yourself!"

Yeah, ILF in its entirety is about as fast as the amps forum on TB. But that's fine with me that's the only board on TB I use.

Yeah my humor is a bit strange. Other Aussies get it, and some of the European fuzz lovers do. But a lot of the folks in the States probably think I'm a weirdo. In which case they are probably right.

Definitely -- we're getting married in October! Even if it hadn't worked out I think it would still have been worth it. Life is too short to have regrets and wonder what could have been. :thumb:

Same thing happened to me, except it was 3000 miles. I moved. <3

There is a chance that she might move here, but I'm not entirely sure how much water that scenario holds. I guess we'll see what happens over time. I'm definitely planning a trip back down to California again soon so we can hang. :!!!:

Nice! Just feel it out and see how it goes. It was 10 months between when we met and me moving, so I'd like to think I was being "rational" about everything. It's not really a situation that's conducive to thinking straight!

Congrats on getting hitched!

I'm not certain where it will all go, but to say I'm crushing right now is huuuuge understatement. Definitely plan to take it easy, but my mind is racing with the possibilities of what could be.

Five years ago, I drove overnight to Florida to pick up my Wife from the carnival (yes, the carnival) so she could come back to Georgia and we could run to the courthouse.

We had dated for a couple years and broken up, and she ran off and joined the carnival. After about six months apart being miserable, getting married seemed like the logical thing to do.

Just bit into a good-sized chunk of one of my incisors.
Like, the front "plating" of it broke off. Neat.
