Nabbed a great deal on ALM MUM8 filter. Sweet, sweet S950 junglist tones.

ugh. my bud got his in, there's something wrong with the repeat/glitch button. that's what he (annnnnnnd i would think most anyone that ordered one) was most juicy juiced about.

Hmmm. Been really wanting to explore modular as way to effect the live drum looping I do and the Per4mer might just be a must have......... thank you for that

Interesting! Seems like a cool one. You got it yet or still in ze post?
I've been having a lot of fun matrix mixing, but then sometimes I wish it had VCAs in for modulating the mix. But then, something like the rebel tech mix04 has no knobs which are more useful for setting things up. Nothing is perfect eh? I'll just work on pairing what I got with VCAs for modulating the mix, maybe that'll go somewhere.

What you matrix mixin'? I don't really understand how matrix mixin' is useful if you don't mind giving an example?

Matrix mixing can do all sorts! Can be used for FX sends and funky chains blending things in. But so far at least I mostly use it for patching feedback. Having multiple ins and outs feeding back on each other can yield some very interesting results.

thanks! out of the Data Bender and the Perfy, i way prefer the DB. but for hands on clicky effects action times, Perfs is more fun.

murrrrrr. hurmph. might be grabbing a Nord Drum 2. i freaking haaaate red, but. i've heard so much neat stuff done with them.
annnnnnd i DO have a Kammerl Massive MIDI Modulator on her way here... i was going to use it with the Rytm, but there's scenes already mapped out for the Drum 2 and. i am so fucking SICK of setup.
all my loot is cabled up, USB, MIDI, audio.
ES-9 is setup for standalone and hosted use, monitors like a mixer.
EC4 is setup with one page for speaker volume/pan, one for headphone volume/pan, one for sends.
still need to get the Multiclock as the main clock, that's either today or tomorrow's project.
MMM -

ONLY vid i can find is Richard Devine turning the Drum 2 into an incomprehensible mush of glitchy noise bits -

annnnnnd fuck fuck fuck FUCK. i think my fucking Rytm is borked.
it won't power on.
well, when i turn it off and on (why. WHY don't they have a version of IT Crowd without the laugh track?) it powers up for a second, then goes dark. i've tried 3 different psu's, they all work fine with my A4, but not the Rytm.
ugh.
i mean. DetMod or Elektron will take care of me, but fuckkkkkk. that might mean shipping to Sweden. and i really hope one or the other will send one out as i'm sending this one back. waiting on an email i sent after hours to DetMod before contacting Elektron.
FUCK.

ugh. right? i've only had it about a month and i'm in love with it. i trust DetMod and/or Elektron to resolve it, but the TIME involved is frustrating.

I just snagged a deal on a Phonogene.
This obsolete module will perforate my rack with its genetic features thereby ensuring sonic mastery over the elements and "sonic" features which have gone unheard since the early 1950s and 60s. The psychedelic library music vinyl vibe is strong here and we mustn't forget to eat THC gummies. That is the long and short of it, fellows.

Noooooord Twoooooo gets in Saturrrrrdayyyyy.
still waiting on the Kammerl MMM and Reptile noise synth. shipping takes FOREVER from Out Country right now. Sonicware said the 8 Bit Liven would HOPEFULLY ship mid-December'ish. wooooooot.
edit - or. you know. they could drop off Nord Drum 2 today. that's cool too.

Had a good time with the ALM MUM8 filter last night. It sounds so crunch, I love it.
I don't understand how to use the built in VCA?
