I played Osu for a while. I can't hang with the mode that requires the mouse, but the DDR mode and the drum one are cool.

I accidentally "Enter The Gungeon." I suck at this terrific game which reminds me of "Binding Of Isaac" (best rogue-like of all times). "Gungeon" has a different flavor but scratches the same itch. It is the apple which has fallen from a similar tree or a different varietal of apple. I probably have 15 hours in it and have barely scratched the surface and only made it to level 2.

In other words, "Borderlands 3" reminds me of all the other "Borderlands" games and I'm not even mad because I liked those games a lot.

I started playing Hyper Light Drifter. This is a pretty fun game. All is well.

How deep into the Gungeon did you make it?

beat the last boss, collected 2 of the Magic Time Bullet pieces.

i appreciate depth, but get a little annoyed at Do This Hard As Butts To Do Thing That's Not Obvious So Look Online To See How To Progress stuff. and there's a fair bit of that for some unlock elements?

Awesome. I'm going to need like 100 more hours of practice before I get to The Final Boss.

Lots of recs in the last 10-20 pages for Switch games. Breath of the Wild is one of my all time favorite games. Mario is safe, maybe not the best Mario but still fun enough. A few of us really dug into Mario Maker 2. Your other usual suspects like Mario Kart and Smash Bros are good if you like those types of games. Mario Tennis, meh. Lots of quality indie games on it too. Might need to buy their online deal if you want to play online, and that gives access to the NES and SNES virutal console to play old games for free at that point (though yeah, you paid for the service).

The whole intro portion is extremely tedious but it opens up into one of the best games atmo! Good luck and enjoy!

Yeah, I've been eyeing some of the stuff, but I'm not sure I'm a roguelike fan, and those seem to be the most popular.

I did get the Switch Online thing, but I paid for the family membership. Father-in-law got a Switch a couple months ago but wanted to play more old school games. Figured I could do the family plan so he could access the NES and SNES emulators.

Ordered BOTW today along with a third party controller, charging stating, and a bluetooth adapter. Yay Amazon christmas cards.
