it's almost like Brian plays synth in a band.

i've used the... jebus. i don't remember the names of ANY pedals. his feedback fuzz? i have one that's pink with a vagine painted on it. with some synth stuff. angry, angry parts.

In general I like SSBS pedals with synths. TAFM and Buzzz were great. Pretty sure I used a mini with some synths and it worked well. Fuck on the other hand, did not like synths to my experience. Lost way too much low end with that one

Mordax WOOT. really cool oscilloscope, does a crazy amount of things. nice!

murrrrrrr. it would break my Top Row Has All Jacks On The Bottom, Bottom Row Has All Jacks On The Top rule, but i kinnnnnda want an Acid Rain Maestro. thing looks BOSS.

also, getting rid of the ES-9. i mean, pretty sure i'll list it, but not TOTALLY sure yet. they're hard to find. but definitely pulling it from my rack and going back to the Presonus AR16C. the ES-9 and EC4 combo is AMAZING. does so damn much.

but fuck me. it adds so much complexity to really simple musical tasks. 4 or 5 steps just to sit down and start making noises.

stilllllll haven't gotten the Multiclock set up, so the Modular is it's own timed thing right now.

using Metron to sequence the Nord 2 and Surface, Voltera for note stepping on Surface -

THAT CAT IS BEST CAT.

love that kitteh.

thanks! just starting the Nords Explorations, but it's fun so far. super quick and intuitive interface. i usually hate matrix style settings layouts, but this is only 2 rows (technically 4 i guess? with the second level to each?), but it works out almost knob per function. hopefully i get my head all the way around it before the MMM gets here.

the Hydronium is fucking BUTTS neat. going to try Even Vco with WMD Time Warp, Javelin, and Carbon as a Close Enough But Does More In Less HP proof of concept today?

thanks! me toooooo!

really digging the Nord 2.

murrrr. think i fried my WMD Carbon. had the power in backwards. annnnnd didn't notice for 3 or 4 hours because i was using other modules.

i.... kinda don't like it anyways. the wave folding was neat, but the rest was very meh. i have a Ritual Electronics Altar on the way.

as i've got my rack pared down to more function driven instead of wanting to do EVERYthing i appreciate larger modules. they don't have to be HUGE, but a 12 hp filter vs a 4 hp is.... good. i'm not trying to tight pack a billion things any more, more finger and breathing space is neat.

also, i like that Altar has one out and a blendable knob between states. i never use the Low Pass AND the Band Pass AND the High Pass AND the I'M THE QUIRKY MODE FOR THIS MODULE out at the same time. and can't think of when i've used two.

hm I was interested in the carbon. Did the rest of the filter not sound that good?
