I am so unbelievably hyped for Cyberpunk! I already don't know where I'm going to start when I get the game

i am... emotionally supportively hyped for y'all to enjoy it?

i have never. EVER. enjoyed anything sand boxy. so as much as i loved Deus Ex, as much as i LOVE cyberpunk fiction... this does nothing for me.

because i am an empty, dry husk of a human being.

It looks like it basically combines elements of many of my favourite games (most open world RPGs, really) and sets it in my favourite genre. I couldn't be more ready.

Side note, I've never played Deus Ex, but I feel like I probably should.

Deus Ex (original, to be clear) is one of my top 10 favourite games. It's so good. Still worth playing in 2020 imo. :!!!:

I'm fairly hyped for Cyberpunk. I do like open world stuff, I love the witcher, I like cyberpunk. Ticks a lot of boxes.

Im hopeful for it, more hyped for the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel and Crash 4 than anything else.

But im also a omnipresent gremlin whos favorite game is Enter the Gungeon, so whateverrrrrrr.

I tried to play it again maybe 2-3 years ago, but I couldn't get into it again. I'd love a remake though.

Looking forward to Cyberpunk as well. I've tried not to watch too many videos as I want to go in fresh.

Managed to avoid all the TLOU2 reviews and spoilers. About halfway through the story now (is my guess based on gut feeling). Played on hard difficulty. Tried Survivor but GF got tired of me dying and wanted to see the story progress. Overall, I'm really enjoying it. They've done some ballsy story an character choices, but so far I'm still interested and not too put off by it. People seem to be losing their shit over it, and I don't get why. Maybe endgame will reveal what they're all on about. :idk:

I've managed to completely avoid all spoilers for The Last of Us 2 and I am really curious about what people have been finding so divisive about it. I still haven't started it, though.

I am going the complete opposite way with Cyberpunk, though. I'm watching everything they've released about it and read into the back story. I feel like there's going to be so much going on in that game that spoilers won't really bother me.

Noooo I haven't tried to play in a while tbf and I know it's janky and looks awful. But still, what a game

GMDX for Deus Ex does a lot of good things for it and takes a lot of the jank out. Strongly recommend trying it if you're wanting another go at one of the greatest games of all time.

Very interesting I have tried a couple of mods but not that one. personally I'm capable of playing it as per the original but hey it's worth trying this mod out! Looks like it adds a substantial amount to the gameplay so definitely could be fun rather than replay vanilla Deus Ex for the 4th or 5th time  Thanks :) :thumb:

This new game from Ubisoft looks like it'd be really cool if it wasn't another fucking BR.

Finished TLOU2 the other day. One of my favorite games of the last couple of years. Great narratologial craftsmanship, smooth and solid gameplay and a level of detail I've yet to see on any other console game. I get why some people didn't like it, but I thought it was a great choice to tell this story rather than to milk the original of what that was.

I used to be excited about interactive fiction and where it could go, with games like Gone Home, The Walking Dead (s1), To the Moon, and so on. But I feel like something went very wrong somewhere, and that most of them are the worst of both worlds—poor stories and characters compared to literature or cinema, and poor gameplay compared to games. The last one I played was Life is Strange 2, and it was a let down. (TBF, I feel like computer & video games in general went wrong ca by the time DVDs became omnipresent.)

Played through Remnant: From the Ashes. Really good game if you are into that type of play style and mechanics.
