Sometimes when I open my front door it makes a "fwoomp" sound that's exactly like one of the hit sounds in the first Mortal Kombat game on Genesis. Like when you uppercut someone or do Scorpion's teleport punch.

You should remember that in case you need to punch someone.

I recorded a bass demo for my friend's band and im giving it to him tomorrow. I'm excited and really nervous. I love love love what they're doing (like if Hella was a bit more friendly to the ear with catchier drumming), but im worried theyll pick another dude who they've been in bands with over me.

The notes I leave myself make no sense.

Here's one I found:
"Adventure cafe construction scam."

Here's another:
"13
8
2
Cobb salad"

And a long one:
"Persnickety Pete the Parrot sat atop Captain Featherbottom's shoulder, a boulder of round mass - a nice perch for discerning folk of wings, and feathers, and aplomb, and such class. Pete was a particular parrot, not terse, but worse, garrulous and glib, sharp wit, and barbed quarrels, set a-fly as one might by arrow a target. They stood in sand, on the shore of some island, a fine view if any, of some trees, and a mountain, and perhaps somewhere - thought Pete, or his Perch - a treasure to be found, past some dots in a line. An X on the ground, on a map, from a bottle, set adrift, surely missed, among waves in the ocean."

^ I gave up after 7 minutes. Never really got the fun in people hurting themselves.

But the dude cutting off the tree below the point his ladder was rested did not deserve any better.

And the portuguese guys with the giant waves were actually pitying the dude that got washed away.

Thank you. No, I haven't ever managed to get a full story out. I think that little chunk right there came out of a night of drinking. I feel like it could be part of a picture book.
