As much as I don't like linking to this channel, this is the only demo of the Atredies that I could find, it sounds gnarly.

Not so much a product unveiling, but I'm just really excited for MIDI 2.0, as the original midi protocol is a real bottleneck in music design, I can only imagine the crazy shit that'll come out of this.

Hell yeah! Midi 2.0 will be dope!

Too funny that they're going for the P&W jugular ("LOL so weird!"), but I am totally interested in a EHX Micro Synth that isn't manufactured with EHX's shoddy standards, even if I have to sing for my supper

i'd like to hear it doing something other than octave-doubled fuzz riffs. i didn't hear anything there you can't get with a fuzz and an octave divider.

all of which i already have. i was hoping for something much weirder. i mean, the PM7 with fuzz running into it is way weirder than anything there.

idk man - it does evoke an octave down synthy fuzz with sliders that truly kicks it but half the time that thing is oop and scalphunter prices vary between your firstborn and the soul of your nation

I wonder what Red Panda is unveiling today..Bitmap 2 or Raster 2? months ago they said they were working on both of those, and i'd be totally down for a Raster 2, the pitch shifting features on the V1 were ideal for me, and having it in the new form factor would be perfect.

Color makes me think Bitmap 2 if they aren't being tricky, though the Raster has been kinda overshadowed by Particle 2 + Tensor, so maybe more pressing need for updates there and delays are surely easier to sell. More Red Panda is always a good thing either way.

I look forward to the new Pigtronix pedals on sale at half price.
Kurzweil K2700 has me salivating, though I’m sure reviews will say it’s a fantastic synth for a decade or more ago. $TBA but I’m sure I can’t afford it:

Wow! Kurzweil is back? Their '90s weren't bad at all and the K5000 was an awesome additive synthesis beast.

Do you mean the Kawai K5000? I’ve heard demos that make me want one, but different K.
