Thank you so much Dubkitty!

This is a perfect assortment.
If I was going to design a bark treat specifically for myself, these are the ingredients I'd pick. I love some spicy nuts. The magnet makes me want to travel. Altogether they give me a delightful sense of place.
The cables seem small and sturdy which is exactly what I want in cables.
I've actually somehow never had any Seppuku devices so I'm very excited to see what this can do!
It's been a hectic and stressful couple of months and this gift makes me very happy.

My ILFmas present is hitting me in the feels. So as I've said a lot about 13 years ago I was diagnosed with quintuplets. Life has been pretty fantastic (not sarcasm) ever since but I had to liquidate like everything I had to make ends meet. My New Orleans Saints season tickets, an amazing rig I had with a Mesa 400+ tube head and a pair of fEARful cabs, but also any pedal that had value.....which was like all my cool pedals. I always knew I would get my gear back when I got further into my career.
Fast forward 13 years and I haven't gotten my gear back but I also don't get to play much. My music room has largely been the main junk room (we have 2 1/2) and as babies those fuckers tore up everything so most of my gear was hidden away and hard to get out. I get to play like once a year. That sounds sad but it's really a happy story because I'm too busy doing the dad stuff which I love.
The SAD thing is that the quints just hit middle school and are getting to that age where they are doing their own things which is all healthy and normal but the awful side effect is that I find myself having nothing to do for the first moments in over a decade. PLUS four of them are in band (the other is on choir/theater) so the music room is getting unjunked. The past ILFmases were like nostalgia things for me but this one is really like I'm knocking the rust off and getting back out there.
Of all the brands I had to sell off over a decade ago, my Dr Scientist stuff are the ones I miss the most. I will eventually get back a cosmichorus (the only chorus pedal I ever liked), Elements, and Sunny Day Delay. Also doing dub step noises with my old expression controlled filter is one of the sounds I miss the most from my old rig so to get Dr S back and to get to make fuzzy dubbies with this Dusk is.....I mean this is the top. Perfect 10. I can't write enough how much this means to me. The Business Synthesizer Card has been fun to play with too! And the calendar will get good use.
Thanks, man!!!

Sorry, this is my first rodeo so I'm confused; I'm seeing people mention their Santas by name - is that generally how this goes? I thought it was supposed to be secret, so I didn't identify myself in the package I sent. Was I supposed to?

Many go anon. Others don’t bother. The only time I went fully anon my mark didn’t guess, so I just haven’t since.

I always have these grand dreams of paying various ILFers from all over the globe to collect and send things to my mark from different locations, totally befuddling my marks and leaving them impotent in their ability to discern who has bestowed them with such amazing and lavish gifts......
And then I run out of time and budget really fast and don't know how to send something without putting an address on it and being the only person from Louisiana in here it feels impossible to remain anonymous so I'm like....whatever. it was me.
I'm super excited my package made it to Canada, HA! I can't believe it got there so quick. I got some pretty solid advice on the gift idea.

For as long as I can remember, the secret bit is you don't know who is stalking you and then you're like "whoa, hype!" when you get a package delivered. Also, with us Europeans being so scattered in different countries, it's basically impossible to be anonymous anyways. Personally, I love knowing who it was so I can thank them.
Also, keep the pics/videos coming! As heartwarming and lovely as always, reading these posts!

Absolutely gobsmacked opening my package.

Thank you Aedes! Already have enjoyed the Aurelius, and it sounds so squeaky clean. And I'm not sure where these creme caramels have been all of my life.

Excited to have the mini ego back, nothing better than a tiny format utility pedal to give you more room for fun sounds. Feeling spoiled and grateful homies.

Holy smokes! Vidret hitting it out of the park!
20241224_110825.jpg
Candy! Dried sausages! Marzipan! Secret Swedish Xmas elixir! And...a riddle that can be solved three ways to get the pedal!
A) pick the lock (I pick locks for fun, so great catch! Also, this lock is juuust above my skill level and requires a tool I don't have...yet! Perfection!)
B) beat one of the (or the?) last boss in Sekiro (also gifted via Steam!!)
B) Watch Conan the barbarian and anime show to solve a riddle that is apparently hinted at somehow but not made explicitly ((wtf?) also gifted within a USB stick along with a bunch of other shows and movies!)
This kicks so much ass!!!
Thanks again, Vid! You're the best.
Will post pedal when I've decided on my path and completed the task before me.
Time to git gud at something!
Update to this. I chose to invest in the lockpicking skill tree.
This was my challenge. Brutal keyway and my first dimple key.
Like I said, I didn't really have the tools for this, but I learned that it is theoretically possible with a non-specialized tool, it's just way more finicky. I learned that this latter bit was true. But, I did prevail! And in the end, I got the fucker cracked. Blissful moment.
And from within came a mighty beast!!!
Such a sick gift! Looking forward to melting off my own face with it. Thanks again to Vid!!

Oh my. I've been bamboozled.
A 2nd package has arrived!
And inside were many Italian delicacies. Thanks, Dowi! I'm going to rock this vinyl tomorrow and post some pictures but I selfishly ate half the candy before remembering I should take pictures.

Merry ILFmas to me! Thank you
can'tremember!!!
In case it's not clear in the picture, I got:
An ILF Barefoot button!
Torn Manuscript by Compulsory Arts (described by my Santa as "crazy ring mod/trem")!
an ILF shirt (in a size and color I can actually wear!) so I can be identified in the wild!
Two bottles of hi-test bunghole destroyer sauce!
3 CDs including one from Snailmate, maker of the bunghole destroyer sauce, and a bunch of wacky Snailmate stickers!
A bottle of honey, which I just tried and is delicious!
Candy with a scorpion in it! Also prickly pear cactus with no bugs in it!
Green chile flavored pistachios! Christmas tree Peeps because why not!
Some other stickers, some picks in the gauge I like to use on bass, and a small rubber cake because you never know when you need one!
Also pictured, the wrapper of a "Mozart Piano Bar" candy that I
gavoned in the car.
I'm really glad I joined the SS this year, but after getting all this stuff and seeing other people's hauls, I really gotta step up my game if I wanna participate again. I hope my recipient is as happy with their booty as I am with mine.
Merry ILFmas everyone!

well, once again my Santa knocked it out of the park. the pedals (foreground) are really interesting. i’ve been looking at Mid-Fi stuff for years but somehow never got around to getting anything. this is the (Non)Computer, i.e. the fuzz section of the Glitch Computer. i’ve never played a fuzz that behaves like this…the lower gain settings are pretty broken-up and the sound tightens up as you raise the gain. i wonder if it starves the circuit or something in the low settings. once i got it plugged in i played for about an hour and a half without even noticing the passing of time. it’s one of those boxes that makes you play differently to normal. i could only find one demo, and it doesn’t sound as good as my box does. i’m wondering if Doug’s stuff just doesn’t lend itself to demos; many of his demos sound pretty terrible and the best ones of the fuzzes are Jet City reviews from over a decade ago. i’ve had an eye on the Demo Tape fuzz for awhile and may take the plunge.
the Demonfx Tape Echo is apparently a clone/re-rub of the Keeley Mag Echo, and Herc had it modified with an infinite feedback button that’s the only “infinite” delay setting i’ve ever played where the volume doesn’t go totally apeshit within 20 seconds, topping out only a little bit above the normal signal. which is to say that it’s much more useable than typical delay-feedback stuff. looking forward to trying it in the loops.
and the non-pedal stuff! sweets that go with the lattes i make with my $75 espresso machine off Temu, Real Canadian Maple Syrup, a mango hot sauce that looks intriguing, and a mini panettone. food and toys for Otis, and four CDs from a friends’ label that i gather are experimental and/or improv with very cool creative packaging. i’ll dig more into all this stuff in the next few days. i’m going to have to step up my game next year, and do some cooking with the food stuff. in case it didn’t come across, thanks, man.

Okay, looks like my outgoing has touched down in some way, shape, or form - so I'm digging into mine..
This is an excellent mix, and I am chuffed to try it all out - plus it got immediate cat approval (rare).
Many thanks, Satan!
