Lately I've been playing some UnReal World. It is a singular game. I 100% recommend any game geek try it out. It's like a roguelike open world survival sandbox set up in Finland/Karelia in the iron age, where survival actually means survival, not "fight zombies, but sometimes also eat food and drink water to fill up your metres". The gameplay is unforgiving, but fair. A real gem of a game.

Always late to the party, but while I'm waiting for new releases of my main games, got the Skyrim SE. Im really digging it, ill play it for a few hours during the course of the week and not get all that far but its definitely enjoyable as hell. Guess I see what all the hype was about 10 years ago now lmfao

Are you playing on PC or console? I love that series and just picked that & Fallout up for PC, I built a new gaming PC right before all the parts shortages happened and prices went crazy. Haven't started playing Skyrim on PC yet but wanted to play both with all the available mods on PC for them. Fallout has been good so far but since Cyberpunk and Valheim have been released I haven't played either.

I spent a large portion of my Easter playing Skyrim Together with my wife and her two brothers. It's really buggy, but it's really fun to raid caves and castles together with other people. Gotta play on Master or Legendary difficulty though, or else it's just too easy. It works with Nexus mods too, which is awesome.

Here's me and my wife on vacation outside the Dawnguard castle after slaying some vamps.

I would have thought that even on the hardest difficulties it would be a doddle. Though I guess mods could fix that.

My last playthrough I got about halfway on Legendary as a mage, and it just got to a point where it required too much planning and saving/reloading. It was difficult as hell. The thing with Skyrim Together is that what might spawn on your screen as a noob enemy is actually a super strong enemy on your friend's screen, so it ramps up the difficulty like that. Plus, you sometimes have 4 dragons instead of 1 etc. Gets real hectic.

Having never played any Assassins Creed game, when Assassins Creed III went on sale on the switch store I took that as an opportunity to try out the franchise. It was easily one of the worst games I’ve played. The controls are bad, the ui is bad, the maps are bad, the mission design is bad, the story’s bad, the audio design is bad, and the historical accuracy is bad as well. The only thing that wasn’t awful were the graphics. I hate this game.

Skyrim is rad, tho. The main mission wasn’t as fun as exploring random caves and dungeons (but I also never finished the main storyline).

Yeah I guess 4 dragons sounds fun (and glitchy)

So I finally played my first Resident Evil game (RE7) and I absolutely loved it. The story was excellent, characters were insane, gameplay was fun, atmosphere was tense and creepy; really nothing to complain about. Well maybe the DLC because they both kind of sucked. I also bought Village at the same time so I'm excited to dive into that, but I've been completely distracted by Disco Elysium, which is phenomenal so far! I'm pretty sure I need to play it multiple times already because there's so much going on. This playthrough I'm playing as a pretty standard intelligent detective, but I think I need to do another where I pump everything into Inland Empire and other Psyche traits so I can be a total lunatic

I liked the first half of it and would actually love more of that mechanic in the future, but then I got the power fist thing and it kind of lost its charm and turned into a straight up action thing like the Not a Hero DLC. I definitely liked End of Zoe much more than Not a Hero; I played literally all of Not a Hero with a knife until the boss, who I then easily destroyed with all of the shotgun shells I had hoarded.
