Ah true, I didn't think to check what systems it was actually out on. It would be a good game on Switch and it looks like the devs are working on getting it on all platforms, but no idea when

Started Axiom Verge today. Thoughts:
1) I almost gave up immediately, but then found some cool upgrades and stuff started getting all glitchy and weird. Now I'm hooked! Seems to be the same story with every metroidvania game I play. Another good example, Hollow Knight is one of my all time favourite games, but the first time I played it, I put it down after 15 minutes and didn't try again for like a year.
2) the soundtrack is amazing! It actually really inspired me to go power up my synths for the first time in like 6 months!

Axiom Verge is good fun! Have been interested in checking out the sequel, which looks a bit different.

That is absolutely a super fun game. I haven't played that in awhile. Absolutely loved setting up stupid scenarios like me in a bus against a bunch of supervans

Cosmo D has the best damn soundtracks in the indie game world, and the games themselves are pretty fun and goofy, too.

Started playing "It takes two" with my mrs the other day and really liking it so far. (cue cheap jokes!) Learning curve for a casual gamer and a not so often gamer just perfect.

Definitely excited for a new Ron Gilbert MI game! Not sure I love the art style they've gone for, "that's not my Murray" etc, but it's not that important to me. If it's funny and has silly puzzles, I'm game.

Don't click on this if you haven't played "Escape From Monkey Island" (the awful fourth game that came out at the peak of the "if it isn't 3D you're not going to sell it"-time in the '90s)!

Never in my life have I played games on PC, I had an N64 when I was a kid and then went to a PS2 and a PS3 after that. Stopped gaming about 8 years ago, still had a PS3, was only playing a bit of NHL with my roommate and decided to sell the PS3 when I got an appartment with my girlfriend.

I have this shitty $300-400 acer laptop from like 2012 for ableton. Needless to say I can barely run it. Thing is slow as fuck it is a real pain... To think I got through my undergrad and masters with that piece of shit  wow

Sooooooo, I just bought my first good laptop! Got myself a Lenovo Legion 5 with intel i7 cpu and rtx 3070 gpu! Can't wait to receive it and buy Battlefield 4 and maybe a few other games! Now I just need to decide if I upgrade the TV (so it can follow my pc for fps and video quality, I would play with a ps3 controller since I am used to that and would be in the super comfy sofa) or if I get a monitor (would probably have to put it in the basement with my music gear and buy a gaming chair or something, maybe even a mouse and keyboard, cause the basement sofa is shit

Anyway, appart from that dilema I am really excited! :joy:
Gf not so much
