That's exactly how I would feel.

Is it weird if Dr. John, St. Vincent and Owen Pallett are the only names I recognized?

It means you need to school yourself. ;)

I know something like 2/3 of the names, maybe half of the line-up I know the actual music. Of the ones I know there is not one I don't like and the ones I know by hearsay are at least interesting to me. That is already quite the great quota and I'm sure there are some discoveries to be made here.

Seriously though, You don't recognize the names Swans, Steven O'Malley or Einstürzende Neubauten? It would seem you don't spend too much time around ILF… :)

Sweet dude! I'll shoot you some contact info when the time is nigh. Tristan might be going as well. (I stopped smoking a year ago, but for this festival I might just make an exception.)

Yes, because I think you like Wreckless Eric?

Also, you'd probably really dig Wire.

Took today to relax, no recording, nothing. The most I did music related today was play through my normal Smoking Roses set just for fun, with a few of the new songs thrown in. Felt great just to let loose instead of recording. Was a reminder that I need to play more shows again.

Anyway, lazy day felt good. been a while since I've had one of these. I'm naturally a workaholic so taking the time for myself was a nice change of pace.

Tomorrow I might also be getting an SG. (Fingers Crossed)
