Now that's pretty. I could almost see myself willingly waiting a year for something like that.

umm

far out that is gorgeous
i'm thinking about putting a deposit on a custom very soon... the wait seems painful as hell but if it means getting my dream guitar then i guess it's worthwhile.

it would be so much more awesome if you guys could actually forget about it and then be pleasantly surprised

That's what I'm trying to do...it's not working.

I've been trying to forget for the last year. It only worked for about 5 months.

So after a few days of having the double-neck I'm finally bonding with it. At first I didn't have much time and I was disappointed that everything buzzed and there was no sustain on the 6-string neck but after adjusting the height of the saddles a bit, it's playing great. The guitar is crazy heavy but it's odd how little I feel the weight when strapped in. I work that the strap-locks will strip out. I really like the unique features of each neck and their distinct personalities. I wish it didn't take so long to get here but over time I doubt I'll still care about that. Now it's time to get the right stereo rig going.

He's got 12 more months

Sorry, gallows humor. I noticed there was a short in one of the volume pots. Kevin said he sent them out over 2 weeks ago. I had no idea the Pony Express was still a shipping option. Either way, I placed an order from RS Guitarworks.

Kevin sent me an e-mail saying he was working on the wiring for my guitar. He also asked about phase switch placement. I'm so pumped.

I noticed this on the EGC facebook:
Start of the EGC NAMM guitars. We will have a King Buzzo in gold anodize. 30 inch Bari in black anodize. 34 inch Series one bass in purple anodize. 34 inch Tom Petersson 12 string. Hinds Custom acrylic. Titanium anodized Chessie. Finally and A. Turner TT2 27.5 scale baritone. The prototypes will make an appearance as well, number 1 and 2.
That was the colour holding yours up right Schnikes? Sounds close.

Yep, same finish.
I just got word from Kevin that all the ano he was waiting on is back at the shop. Finally. Then I emailed to ensure that isn't my Chessie headed to NAMM haha. It's not.

I'd like to see this. Even though I'm pretty sure based on the peoples's experience in this thread, I'll never order an EGC.
