Hahaha, I just need a "normal" delay more. I'm going full blues dad and getting an El Capistan probably. And I need a reverb and a compressor.

...what have I become?

You will need a John Mayer strat, a Klon and a Timmy and you will be set.

I like to think my dirt selection balances it out. Second Voice, Mini, Driving Notion, and TAFM. Noise dentist for life.

The El Cap is wonderful.
Definitely my favorite delay I've tried so far.
I have a Meet Maude coming in tomorrow, so I'll be able to try 'em side by side.

Nice! I temp traded my Meet Maude for Skully's El Capistan. Should be here tomorrow!

I'm very excited. Maude is awesome, and I'd love to keep both. I just want presets and the sound on sound mode gets me all hot and bothered.

Sound on sound mode is super fun, I think I've spent most of my time with the pedal in that mode.
The half speed doesn't sound as good as the DL4 in my opinion, but I love the way the loops degrade.

My plan (if I love it, which I think I will) is to get a favorite switch and have the sound on sound on the preset switch and then dial in my delay sounds on the pedal itself. My only worry is that there will be too many awesome sounds that I won't be able to pick one. The multi head settings sound amazing too. I love some rhythmic delay.

I needed to explain the term "blues lawyer" to my bandmate the other day.

Sitting in my room, home alone. Winter has passed, snow has melted, and this wonderful cold-ish breeze is blowing. I feel so calm.

Having an interesting week in a good way.

A job that my buddy works at confirmed with me that I'm hired so I finally have a job technically! Should be hearing when I come in this week. I also just got back from an interview at a local pizza place (Applied before I heard about the first job). So come weeks end, I'll have a choice to make.

Most likely though I'll be taking the not pizza place job since it gives me the option of working with my buddy and working the night shift. Fun times.

I'm also still on cloud 9 from scoring the tickets to see lightning bolt in may. I've been dying to see them for years now, and its finally happening. Its surreal to me. Gonna be gnarly.

Other than that, just looking forward to having money/participating in secret satan this year!

YIP. :!!!:
