You really needed to do research to know Lou Reed did shit like describe Bob Dylan as a "pretentious kike"?

http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/10/l ... biography/

Lou Reed was none more kike-y.

If I could ask Obama anything, it would be "When is the last time you jerked off?"

I'm not one for cosplay, but Harsh Noise Wally is looking pretty good, too bad if I ever go to any sort of Con (not going to happen) I'll be dressed as Little Skatey.

Really nice. Thanks for the heads up D.o.S.

I lost interest in them a bit later (early 2000s I think) when all they were doing was that music for sexual magic or something. I dunno...just didn't stick with me. Used to be extremely hard to find their stuff and I think there was talk to repress the early albums in 2000 or something (don't know if it happened or what not and it was all compact disc if I remember the chatter)

Yeah I don't know very much Coil simply because their albums were/are so much harder to get ahold of than, say, TG, but I remember being absolutely blown away by some of the latent ideas when someone played me their Black Light District record.

Yea, Coil really hard to come by for a long time. I think the reissues were like hand made direct from their website if I remember because either no record label was interested or they weren't interested in labels. But I think youtube and sharing has helped bands like that get out to people that always wanted to hear it and could possibly generate enough buzz to do real reprints. I had to dig hard back then to get the limited stuff I did. There are really some neat stuff in those Coil releases that really made me think a different was about making "songs".

Anyone ever been so excited about an auction for gear that you want to run on here and tell anyone but get scared because it may start a bidding war and make it not fun anymore? haha. Looking at gear and gas is so lame sometimes. Like, why am I wasting my time? I know I am just going to go fuck with distortion or fuzz and call it a day haha. And then ILFSS makes it more complicated...

And I just found something else really damn cool...haha. What to flip?

^

I kinda want to find a drummer and form a noise rock duo. Want to get my primal riffage on and destroy shit. That would be sweet.
