Apparently you live in the Southern Hemisphere of good taste.

Californication will always be one of my favorite albums. It's the most consistently awesome, everyone is on top of their game on that album. Even AK is at his least annoying. Except the title track. It's pretty garbage.

Really? I kinda see that as the equivalent of Metallica's Black album.
Admittedly I'm not a big RHCP fan, but thought that was the blandest album they put out...and the start of the end. I think their last good one was One hot minute...and I thought that was their pinnacle.

Also...referring to the comment on lemons (on page 2)...I'm pretty weird, but I love raw lemons with a dash of salt. I eat that shit like oranges. It's genetic flavour preference I'm sure, cause I got it from my mum and both my kids love lemons too.
Almost certainly an age thing, I mean I was 8 or 9 when I got into Linkin Park.
My girlfriend also eats lemons that way, I can't.

I just hated the rap funk punk whatever shit from their older albums, and the new shit is just cheesy. The instrumentation is classy as fuck on this album. I wish there were an instrumental version. The way Flea and JF play off each other is inspiring.

One Hot Minute is the RHCP equivalent of lemons with salt. Californication is far and away their best, but I haven't listened for anything but nostalgia with my brother on long trips.
I did make him a pair of stuffed animal pants one year, though.

The few cuts I've really listened to off their newest release are pretty good. Danger Mouse production or not.

A lyric off Dreams of a Samurai from The Getaway:
"Standing naked in your kitchen
Feeling free that I could be alive
Clearly I'm a contradiction
Too young to be my wife"
He's clearly aware and dealing with his attraction to younger girls. Said girl was Danish too lol.

Love for the Chili Peps on ILF? I don't know what to believe anymore.
I liked BSSM when it came out because I was 12. Only good excuse I can come up with.

I used to like most of their stuff up till what they released since 2005ish. What can I say, everyone makes mistakes when they're young. Could probably still get down to a few songs through a mix of nostalgia and them not all being completely terrible.

RHCP ranges from pretty good to unbearable. Best song: Zephyr Song. Worst: Around the World.
I'm answering the questions just because I'm bored.
Favorite Novel: Heart of Darkness, mehbeh
Poem: MMMMMmmmmmmmm, I haven't poemed in a while, TS Eliot is pretty cool
Literary Theorist: I dunno, me?
Dad dick: I don't have a number, but I feel like dad dicks are only allowed to be flaccid.
