After mostly lurking for several years I've been more active in the last few weeks - spurred by the cliquishness thread - and it has been thoroughly rewarding, not least due to the excellent connection with (and resulting pedal from) Betteroffshred. So thanks, everyone, for being welcoming!

After almost 5 years I have finally reconnected with him! He's a very private person so I won't go into detail other than to say he is doing good and is a dad. He doesn't play music any more but it served its purpose at the time, and we have recordings with which we can revisit that time. ILF definitely helped him come out of his shell and spend money on good things instead of bad things. He is unlikely to return to ILF but I know he appreciated all the feedback and support he got here. I'm just glad he's alive and taking care of himself. Anyway I hope a few of you remember him and feel better now that there's a good update.

You, please, let summit know that there're those who still remember him fondly here. Wishin' him the best.

Summit was awesome! I think we wear the same size sneakers, not sure how that is relevant, thought of it when i saw goroth comment and remember sending him some jordans that didn't fit!!!!!!!!!
