Absolutely gobsmacked opening my package. Thank you Aedes! Already have enjoyed the Aurelius, and it sounds so squeaky clean. And I'm not sure where these creme caramels have been all of my life. Excited to have the mini ego back, nothing better than a tiny format utility pedal to give you more room for fun sounds. Feeling spoiled and grateful homies.
If you’ve never had those caramels you’ll love cow tails— same thing in stick form lol.
I don't know why I can't get these photos to be bigger but I guess it is what it is.
Anyway, this years ILFSS was a bit crazy all the way up until the end here. I was so focused on getting my stuff together that I didn't even think about getting something in return and as a result I didn't post as much as I could have. That said, Gone Fission really knocked it outta the park as they say.
2 pedals is crazy! I had never heard of either of these before this but they're both pretty nice! Nice touch on the fudge balls! My wife saw them and was like, oh cool we can take those to Granny's house for dinner this weekend. I told her that wouldn't go over well and that I would be getting drunk off this fudge by myself. She has yet to try one so she doesn't get it. Yeah, I don't know. This is awesome!
Torn Manuscript by Compulsory Arts (described by my Santa as "crazy ring mod/trem")!
an ILF shirt (in a size and color I can actually wear!) so I can be identified in the wild!
Two bottles of hi-test bunghole destroyer sauce!
3 CDs including one from Snailmate, maker of the bunghole destroyer sauce, and a bunch of wacky Snailmate stickers!
A bottle of honey, which I just tried and is delicious!
Candy with a scorpion in it! Also prickly pear cactus with no bugs in it!
Green chile flavored pistachios! Christmas tree Peeps because why not!
Some other stickers, some picks in the gauge I like to use on bass, and a small rubber cake because you never know when you need one!
Also pictured, the wrapper of a "Mozart Piano Bar" candy that I gavoned in the car.
I'm really glad I joined the SS this year, but after getting all this stuff and seeing other people's hauls, I really gotta step up my game if I wanna participate again. I hope my recipient is as happy with their booty as I am with mine.
Merry ILFmas everyone!
I'm stoked this landed safely! I was waiting up until the last possible minute for that pedal to be completed before I could ship. Hope you enjoy!

I’ve packed rum balls in the boxes pretty much every Secret Santa. The rum isn’t really cooked, so a real binge might in fact leave a mark!

Box was padded solid with a ton of candy, filled with an array of treats, serious socks, a tee I’m still trying to figure out, a bunch of reading material, some piano books (well stalked), a toy, a CD, and not one, not two, but three Volcas! This is just insane.

Since most folks are out, I'll expose myself too- I hope it's not too weird an assortment! I forgot to include instructions for the passive ring modulator, but you just run one source (like the Stylophone) into one of the two jacks on one side, the signal (such as voice or other instrument) you want to modulate into the other, and the output is on the other end. The switches turn the effect on and off and also switch the order of the two ins (I think). You can also get a self-modulating effect by splitting a signal and doing different things to one side, so that's why I included the dual-output chorus pedal. I hope the shirt is a good fit and that my included message about swallowing the ducks wasn't too ominous! Happy holidays to you and yourn.
Holy crap thanks crochambeau! I mean it has to be you right Not only did I get this kickass SR16, but also a custom pedal that I haven't tried yet, but it looks like it's right up my alley, based on the detailed instructions. And two hot sauces that I'm definitely trying tomorrow. And an acrylic beetle for crying out loud! It's been an up and down year and this definitely ends the year in the right direction.
Thanks again and merry Iflmas indeed!
Yay! I am delighted everything landed in one piece. I had toyed with the idea of completely changing my build style in order to hide my identity, but I would have had to deface stuff internally to be sure:

John! Many thanks, the assortment is perfect, and just in time to influence some audio work as I got a 4 track up and running yesterday and pulled January in a recording exchange for 2025. The styling on that chorus pedal is to die for, I was completely unaware of that family of Yamahas. I'm still going to just randomly plug lines into the ring mod to settle on what seems best .
I wore the shirt yesterday, it rules. So soft, happy holidays!

We're going to need a transcript of those instructions.
That's a big ask, as I kind of got carried away. Thankfully I took a picture of the note in case I had to recreate everything due to mail loss (I keep telling myself that's why I built the circuit twice as well, but I'd be a fucking liar). Here's the stuff regarding the build, minus the preamble:
Serious about the output levels, here's a trace measuring 8.8 volts peak to peak (level bat high)
Anyway, happy holidays and a most excellent new year everyone!
